Thats about 490 wheel 550 crank HP? Thats real good for those mods. Figure it weighs 3800 with you in it.
Don't think it's that much whp. around 3650lbs with my 200lb ass in it.

@WildHorse, do you have any timeslips that you can post? There just doesn’t seem to be many 6 speed manual tranny cars with timeslips.

Again, that still seems to high. I think it's around 450whp.
I'm looking through 53GB of pics. Chances are slim to none.
In the meantime, here's me vs GT500 with a giant VMP blower & TH400 trans.

Can you guys with more knowledge on tuning and Lund's FI tuning give some advice. This thread is making me second guess using Lund.

I have a '16 GT with ESS kit on the way. This is a sub-700hp build that will always run on 93. I care about low speed drivability and reliability. I will sacrifice HP for these things as I drive a decent amount in cities and in traffic.

I have a Lund ngauge and I'm currently Lund tuned for N/A 93. The tune is fine, but I'm really leaning towards going with another tuner for the ESS.

Let me know what option you'd go with.

1. Keep the ngauge and have Lund tune for the ESS.

2. Unlock and sell the ngauge. Then buy another device and use another tuner.

3. Keep the ngauge and use as a gauge. Then buy another device and use another tuner.

There are lots of happy customers with Lund, However there seem to be more and more unhappy customers with Lund and their customer service, in particular. There are a lot of other tuners out there that people have become very happy with and not nearly as unhappy as seems to be a trend with Lund. Of the choices you present, I would keep that nGauge and use it as a gauge and datalogger, and go in another direction as far as tuning. If I were not happy with my current tuner, based off of available i formation on this forum, I would be leaning HARD in Wengerds direction at this point.

Technically a 6r80, but modded to only have 4 forward gears
If you use that 4 gear set up Lund has a disclaimer that says they will not make it shift correctly on the street.

No, they will not trouble shoot it. The tune they give is it. If it works you win.
Tells me they're using a hack tune. IE: may/may not work, no way to troubleshoot.

I was wanting a 4R because to me the 1st gear in the 6R80 is useless. But when I researched it I found it has trouble in street use. I forget what exactly. Lund was the only one who tuned them (I don't know if others do now) and their written policy was they would not fine tune it. Just make it shift WOT.

Lund was the only one who tuned them
Cause it's made by PBH. You can just as easily get a 2nd gear launch tune.

I would add AED to that list and many like Wengerd as well.
