Are you racing stock Hondas or tubed Big Block Novas?

Also, if you're only racing the 1/8th what the hell is the point?

Most grudge races is the 1/8th but I setup all my car to run the 1/4 mile.. what I’m racing varies from weekend to weekend my next race is a Datsun with a 383 stroker.

I'd vote for the whipple. The tvs might have too much low end torque to hook from the dig .

I would go with a whipple as well since you get the low end torque with out having to deal with spooling turbos and bumping in. Turbo would be a nice option as well though because you can adjust power easily to match traction.

Since it's on the street... Whipple with Flight Control so you can adjust the horsepower, twin turbo with a good controller, or nitrous on a progressive controller.

Street racing gambling is all about the hustle. The only thing about turbo is the learning curve never owned a turbo mustang.

Instant boost. It’s a riot on the street. Hooking from the dig is definitely a challenge though. Even on Rs

Why set it up for 1/4 if all you do is 1/8th mile? The setups are unique to each other and there are crazy people who spend years perfecting their 1/8th mile. You'll need something that hits Hard out of the gate and there's not much better than Nitrous or a properly sized PD blower.

Maybe with twin smalls you might hit hard enough out of the gate if you've got your suspension on point. Twins are out of my element but they build steam.

What's your Gear, tire and suspension? If you can lighten that front end just a bit, with a solid Nitrous kit you could dominate other full weight cars. IDK which Datsun you're you'ge going to race but I've seen V8 240's in the 4's so you better come out swinging with that fat Mustang, lol.

I've always thought of 1/8th mile racing like sitting in the dugout, getting called up and then told to sit back down, lol. I definitely respect the work those guys put into their cars though.
