With so many gear’s and the ability to stay in the high RPM’s.... What is the best combo for a car that gets taken to the track twice a month but is driven everyday?

Already have a Circle D converter in the car. 800HP is possible with any boosted set up and is the goal.

Not looking to set any records. Smaller twin turbo sleeper kit for a quick spool and higher AVG hp? Or Positive displacement which seems to be the best for daily driving, but harsher on motor?

What is everyone’s thoughts?

thanks

any setup will work great on these cars, most people will answer with what they have on their car. but there really isn't a bad choice, espeically if you have a converter already.

best bang for the buck in the vortech kti, our beefcake special is the least expensive way way to get into a kit, but vortech , procharger, edelbrock, whipple, hellion if you want a turbo are all good options, feel free to hit me up with any questions and we can go over your goals, wants, needs.

Whipple IMO, easiest and most reliable I think , also more usable power in lower RPMs.

We are a bit biased but a twin sleeper kit has adjustable boost so you can go from mild to wild with a simple boost change if desired! As far as streetable, twin turbos are the easiest power adder on the engine as you don't have a belt pulling on the crank 100% of the time, if you are idling in a parking lot, you are not turning a belt wearing out parts!

I am running this Sleeper kit and best kit I have purchased so far to date. I have 11-12 kits under my belt

I chose the Whipple 3.0 for my '18 street car. I went through the same process looking at all of the power adders and brands within them... The Gen 5 Whipple stood out to me (and has now proven itself 100%) as being perfect for street duty - occasional stoplight jaunts or rolls, and at the track just hit the gas pedal. No boost building, 2 stepping, transbraking and bump boxing. All an effective part of a turbo program but just adds degrees of difficulty to a pass.
The 3.0 Whipple has the low end, mid range and almost equal MPH to the turbos with stock engine, street builds.
(And I am a turbo guy, I have a Hellion Kit on a Foxbody and they are an AWESOME company to work with!)
Just my opinion, ANY boost will be awesome though!

It really depends on what fuel you're running, turbos are nice because you can turn the boost down for pump gas and then run race gas or e85 on the weekends.

PD blowers are good for the daily because you essentially have power everywhere.

Centris are popular because the cost is super low, and can make good power when the pulley is the proper size.

I have the edelbrock stage 2, which I'm happy with because it looks and sounds stock. It has torque everywhere and I can switch between the 91 and 93 octane tunes they provide depending on what fuel is available. I have power everywhere and it drives better than stock (more torque down low).

It really comes down to your budget and which looks the best to you, any of these can easily provide over 800 hp.
