My 17 GT has a VMP Gen2r blower. It came with the VMP single pass heat exchanger.
I recently upgraded to the VMP triple pass exchanger without fans.
Car runs fine.
If I get on the hwy not long after starting the car the IAT’s stay around 30 to 40 above ambient. If it sits awhile while hot and then is restarted IAT’s seem to stay 50 - 70 above ambient. Temps in my area are cool at the moment. Usually under 60 degrees outside.
Car runs fine and pulls hard. Are my temps normal? I’ve also heard the triple pass exchanger doesn't flow coolant as well as the single and that a more capable Intercooler pump would help? Anyone have recommendations for a better pump?
