Before and after - Resonated X pipe

Before, aggressive and a lot of noise inside the cab

What do you think? I'm very happy with the results. Think I'm finally done with exhaust.

I would love to hear this new setup in person, but from just the video it sounds great

Yes but it needs to be welded in.

I'll let you know how it sounds later. It'll initially be quieter than the stock resonator would be but it burns in and gets to the same or ever so slightly louder.

Corsa Sport axleback (mufflers that are in the Xtreme catback). Replacing the stock resonator with the 11386.

This was a great change! I haven't gotten a chance to rip it with the windows down yet, but overall I'm very happy. It's pretty much the same volume as the stock resonator, but gets rid of the blatty/farty sound that the resonator gives a lot of mufflers at high throttle/WOT. Crisper tone and slightly higher pitch. I'm very happy so far and will drive some more this weekend and keep posting my impressions.

I'm pretty sure I've seen you once or twice from a distance, I'm almost always in my truck when I spot other Goodyear s550s.

I met another guy from Goodyear with a comp orange gt. Both traveled from goodyear to 59th/101 by coincidence and met up at the gas station there. He had magnaflow exhaust and we sounded almost exactly the same at idle I thought. Hmm... I wonder how close I sound to a magnaflow catback at speed

It's higher pitched than the stock resonator. It retains the corsa sound really well, sounding close to the Xtreme catback but not near as loud and with less rasp. I love it.

Good to hear [MENTION=10281]BmacIL[/MENTION], as this resonator has been on my radar for awhile. I value your assessment of how it affects the sound relative to the stock res you were running (I'm still using the stock res) and will look forward to further driving impressions along with any vids you might make with the new res.

I'd highly recommend it. You'd get maybe just a tad more volume with your Touring axleback, but more importantly, a nicer tone and a little bit better mid to top-end pull. No regrets thus far. No change in interior manners. Still (of course) not a hint of drone on the highway. It saves some weight, too!

Right, I myself wouldn't mind a couple db increase while keeping my old lady off my back by not increasing the interior sound level too much. This looks to be the way to go over a straight x or 2x-pipe or even the switch to the Sport AB.

I must live real close to comp orange GT. I'm right of Estrella and the 10. He saw me at the B of A ATM and revved his engine at me :lol:
