Looking to make my car a little louder. Has roush axle backs otherwise stock. Want it louder but not a resonator delete loud.

Is borla a good option for this? I want a good medium between the two. No videos on the Borla resonated x.

The borla resonator would be great for what you are looking for, I believe magnaflow sells their own as well. Straight through design so no air restriction but will give you a little more volume. Definitely not resonator delete loud.

I really wish there were sound clips. I’ve heard people say the magnaflow trux appears quieter than stock for the first bit.

I have the full "euro-spec" Borla Touring cat-back system on my 2017. The difference between the US and Euro Touring is that resonated H-Pipe.

The resonator takes away the rasp and allows you to potter around with a subdued rumble, but clear 3,000 rpm and its nice and loud. You may think that because it has a resonator it would be quiet, but if the fun-police put my car to the test, it would technically fail. At least with this system, you can fly under the radar when required, but it opens up when you desire.

BORLA® S550 Mustang Resonator #60561 at American Speed Australia
BORLA® S550 Mustang GT V8 5.0L Cat-Back™ TOURING Exhaust - 2.5" #140589 - American Speed Australia

If you can wait a week, I'll do my best to get a sound clip if you want?

As requested -

Mine is a 2017 GT with a Borla Touring cat-back and the resonated H-Pipe, which I believe is what they call the EU-Spec Borla Touring.

Cold Start -

Hot Start and Revs -

So Borla directly makes the Resonator for the Borla catbacks. Ford Performance offers one but it's the same. It only fits there catback which Borla makes.

Now, if you go with a Touring style exhaust which I run on my 18 (non active) it sounds amazing even with headers. It's louder but not anything crazy. No drone or extra noise in the cabin.

For your year, this would be ideal:

I have the Ford Performance/Borla Touring and I added the Borla resonator and catless long tubes. Perfect at cruising, but loud if you really get on it.
