I love my manual. But honestly if it were an automatic I wouldn't sell it just to get a stick if I liked the car.

Still, I feel ya, nothing like a manual coupe. I have an automatic in my 51 coupe and I've grown to hate it. I've been seriously considering throwing a 5 speed in it for a while now, but I hate to pull apart a car that has no issues...

Yeah the car is fast enough and great. Maybe buy a manual mustang just for fun but I need to sell one car. Not selling my 5.0 truck for sure bec it’s a work truck

I am past the point of trying to be the fastest on the road, I want to enjoy my ride more than anything (but it still be fast, just not AS fast as possible)

Yeah I miss the enjoyment of pressing the clutch and shifting for sure. Drove nothing but manual before and went auto because of the shifting issues with my 12 5.0 after 45k miles.

Do you owe on the Mustang? If you do depending on where you're at in the loan to value state, that will impact (increase) monthly payments - unless you offset by paying it down.

If you have no outstanding loan, then the above is obviously moot.

Also to note, used car values are dropping and what places were paying 6-8mos ago for a used trade are no longer paying those inflated prices to getting inventory because used car inventory is saturated at this time.

Sounds like you already have a nice Mustang - just be sure if you're going to sell that what you're getting into (if not new) is a sound choice if it's used.

I'd say..."just do it". Here's why.

Who knows how long a manual will be available? Used values are coming down, too. The biggest reason? Drive what you like...we only have so much time on this planet. Tomorrow isn't promised.

A friend once told me that if a given item wasn't a "hell yes", it's a "hell no". I hear people talk about a "beater" car, and I just don't want to drive something that isn't a "hell yes".

Got less than a year with 0% apr with this car. Maybe the smartest choice is to pay it off and keep it. I hardly drives it lately because I like to work and stay busy.
I don’t think Ford sell 2018 and up manual F-150 right?

Get the manual if you can get into it right, otherwise I suggest keeping the auto.

I had ordered a Scat Pack Charger and drive it year round, but in the end could not pull the trigger because of the Auto. Ended up buying my manual 5.0 instead and a winter beater Jeep. I still dream of the Scat Pack and still want one.. but I know if I can only have one, it will be a manual, just because it is more fun. Hopefully in a year or two I can pickup a Scat and keep the 5.0

Don't think anyone sells a full sized pickup is manual anymore. Maybe a Ram 4000? The 6MT Tacoma is fun (had a supercharger on my '06)... but you'll miss the full size pickup's capability.

I had a consistent ‘mid 10sec corvette that was an auto and boring. I would have given anything to have a manual and been able to track it or do some spirited driving around a twisty ass roads. The 10spd trans we have is a great transmission but nothing compares to rowing gears.

Yeah going to start looking once the used vehicle prices goes down a little more. Probably look for a beater with 4:10 gear so I can act like it’s really fast lol. Miss playing with the pedals
