The drive modes in the premium models definitely effect throttle response in manuals as well as autos. I have a manual PP premium and there's a noticeable difference between Normal and Sport+. Rain/Snow is the most noticeable, slows things up considerably. Not really sure if there's a throttle response difference between Sport+ and Track.

Not sure about the base models, but I think the traction control taps do not affect throttle response. That's how my S197 GT was.

From the manual.

Base model sport mode:
Sport mode increases throttle response and helps your vehicle accelerate faster, but does not change the feel of the steering or stability system.

Premium model sport+ mode:
Sport+ Provides a sportier steering feel and throttle response. Sport+ mode is ideal for use during more spirited driving.

Unless it's placebo effect, I believe that driving modes alter throttle response for manual as well. Definitely seems more aggressive in sport than normal to me.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant it affects throttle response in all Premium Mustangs. In addition to that if you have an automatic transmission it will affect the shifting.

So it affects Stability control/Traction control, steering feel and throttle response in all Premium Mustangs. Additionally it affects shifting in cars with automatics.
Further if you have the collision warning that comes with adaptive cruise, that is disabled in Track mode.
