Had barton on my 14 mustang with 2 post bracket and all I can say is it was AMAZING, crisp and direct. Impossible to miss a shift

Yup. Looks even better since it appears we won't potentially need to mess with a body mounted rear bracket. Looks like Barton also opted for a round upper shifter housing to use the S550 factory boot. I'm stoked that there a two options for total upgraded banger vs. a drop in top unit. This is my #1 for tax return time followed by Corsa or FRPP catback.

Mounting to the transmission reduces deflection from torque at WOT reducing the chance of a missed shift. Double benefit that they integrated a DS loop like the Blowfish bracket, very important for drag racers especially manual trans drivers(increased risk of DS damage).

Interested in pricing, looks like a very nice piece. Also, differences as in advantages/disadvantages vs competitors such as MGW? Seems like its trans mounted vs MGW which is not? Correct me if I am wrong, I am new to the "shifter game". I dont mind some knowledgeable corrections if any.

Inquiring minds want to know. I am not thrilled with the 2-3 shift in my car.

One thing people need to remember is when you go from a cheap rubber bushing and design to a solid poly bushing, it will make some noise but NOTHING crazy. If anyone is worried, don't swap or mod the car. To me, their was little to no noise. You could even listen in the video so how it sounds.

It had NO vibration though.
