Installed my Barton short throw shifter, and holy crap is it awesome!! Totally changes the car driving experience for the better!! Great product I would highly recommend!! Best mod on my car yet!!

We ran the Barton 25% short throw shifter on our blue car and loved it as well. We went 9.70@150mph with it so we know it works! :cheers:

[MENTION=10008]LethalPerformance[/MENTION] I also have a Barton but I have a question. I assume I have the 25% throw reduction however the overall height of my shifter didn't change. I noticed that other options lower the shift knob quite a bit.

Those people have installed the Center Shaft Shifter Replacement and 2 Post Bracket Combo to lower the shift ball by an inch. Here is a link to that product.

Ok, that's what I thought cause I was sure Barton sent me a 25% throw reduction although it doesn't really feel like it is...and the shift ball height didn't change at all.

I just had mine installed and I love it as well. I also did amsoil transmission fluid

Are you guys using full spring stiffness or removing 2?

I have all the springs installed and once you break it in it's not bad.

I left all the springs in, it's stiff but shifts awesome
