I must be lucky as hell or something. I still have my OEM wheel bearings at nearly 90,000 miles, and they still appear to be fine 😇
Do you drag race or road race your car? Is it stock or lowered?

Nope! Just "street" use, and currently still OEM suspension & unlowered.

"Street," because I usually have the car cruise along at 130+ for road trips, which is usually three or four times per year, for a couple hours at a time... I know it's neither drag or road racing, but still quite a bit of load.

There's a lot more stress on the bearings when you start lowering them or racing them and they don't last as long

I feel the same way. Mine is at 106k and no odd noises from the bearings or suspension. Everything is stock and original except for the brake pads. Pad swap at around 79k with OEM pads. I've wondered if it's because it's an Ecoboost but I've never treated it really gently so IDK.

I figured as much! But I've been reading across the forums with people having wheel bearing issues when their car is street use only, but I don't recall whether they've done suspension mods.

Bad wheel bearing?
I suspect I have a bad rear wheel bearing. I’ve been feeling/hearing a roaring type noise for a couple hundred miles, now I hear and feel a bumping sound that speeds up and slows down as I drive. Anyone else can confirm bad wheel bearings?
It’s a 2016 GT with 43k miles
Had a boat house full of traction control/ handling messages. Bad left rear speed sensor and wheel bearing on a babied 2015 GT with 65,000 miles.
Let the dealership handle it on a extended warranty.

I just had the dealer replace a front wheel bearing 2 weeks ago. It was making noise when i purchased it remotely with CPO warranty last year. Flew 1200 miles and drove it home. Had about 32k miles when i got in it for the first time, so it was already needing replacement... Hope this doesn't turn out like my Subaru... 5 wheel bearings between ~90k and 135k miles, and it probably had some replaced before i bought it at 60k.

Probably moot point by now. But, my Ford was making that roaring sound. I just drove it for several weeks like that until finally became a scraping sound. Took it to the local mechanic. He put it on a lift and let me see the problem. He spun the rear wheel and, lo and behold, the wheel had a shimmy. Bearings it was. Runs smooth and quiet now.

Moog ok, or stick with OEM?
Ok so a few things to know, OEM bearings have a design defect. They all fail within 15-50k miles. They are junk. And Moog, Moog used to be good but it's now the same quality as no name eBay junk. Don't touch Moog with a 100000ft pole. Quality bearings of any kind including wheel bearing you want to go with timkin. Anything else is bound to fail. (Lots of oem Ford parts have design defects on mustangs, another common one is the fan bearing for the passenger side. They changed manufacturers several times but the defect remains which means it's the design. The fan bearing will fail in under 100 miles. Yes less than 100 miles even brand new parts. Luckily it just results in a squeaking squealing noise when speeding up or slow down aka turn the car on or off but still a failure. Buy timkin once or buy Moog thrice

My right front bearing only made it 7k miles.

My '18 Ecoboost Premium Convertible is at 107k ish on the original bearings.

Hope that doesn't jinx me 🤐

If they ever need replacement I'll do the work. It doesn't look that difficult and I'm far from the rust belt. Worst case it might be an excuse to buy new tools...

Btw - <--- much easier to verify whether the bearing is worn out or not than making guesses what sound it should be making....
