Ok, then it’s way too small for any serious sound quality out of a 10 inch sub. QTC of my JL 10w3v3 will be too high.

Guys. It is plenty big enough for a good 10 that is meant for a sealed enclosure. I’m telling you it f’ing rocks wit my 500w amp and the SQ is absolutely fine.

If it's only 4-5 liters, than its even smaller than the sub enclosure from the shaker system which had around 9 liters.
And that would be waaaaaay to small for any 10 inch subwoofer.

Anyway... if it has holes in it (other than for the wires) than it's not usable anyway, as any subwoofer enclosure needs to be well sealed (even ported enclosures except for the port obviously).
Peter, try the Focal Flax shallow-mount 10” + 12” x 12” piece of Blackhole enclosure stuffing. The Focal 10” works very well in a 0.35 cubic foot sealed box.

I already have a JL 10w3v3-4Ohm and this asks for at least 0.7 cubic feet.

For a complete idiot, does there happen to be a video of this swap around?
I second this — or at least directions for those of us who are electrically challenged, like myself :)

Like what do I need besides the pioneer sub? Just tools to drill/unscrew and some enclosure stuffing, or do i need any wiring stuff?

i’d be really surprised if the factory box was smaller than that. It seem to me it’s around that or even slightly larger.

Edit:
At least on my vert the box is bigger than the shaker. Shaker has an indent on th back for an amp, my 2020 doesn’t have this. B&O is obviously bigger inside you can see that here First two picss are the shaker, third is mine, fourth is random internet of B&O.

you can always use a spacer on the face if you need extra depth clearance.
I have a 10w3v3 in my scion in a jl stealtbox running 500watts rms via 2ohm maybe even a hair more. but no clipping clean signal, it is downright awesome. Love the W3 series its been running hard for like 4 years never missing a beat.

If you guys would like it - I can make a video in the weekend going though the steps?
I won't be doing it since it has been done but I'll explain it all throughout the video 👍

EDIT: I just read my own text and I even confused myself haha!
What I meant was that I can't do it again since I already have done it to my own sub. Though I will show on my own sub step by step what I have done and show how it looks on mine after the job has been done ✌
