Peter, try the Focal Flax shallow-mount 10” + 12” x 12” piece of Blackhole enclosure stuffing. The Focal 10” works very well in a 0.35 cubic foot sealed box.If it's only 4-5 liters, than its even smaller than the sub enclosure from the shaker system which had around 9 liters.
And that would be waaaaaay to small for any 10 inch subwoofer.
Anyway... if it has holes in it (other than for the wires) than it's not usable anyway, as any subwoofer enclosure needs to be well sealed (even ported enclosures except for the port obviously).
I already have a JL 10w3v3-4Ohm and this asks for at least 0.7 cubic feet.Peter, try the Focal Flax shallow-mount 10” + 12” x 12” piece of Blackhole enclosure stuffing. The Focal 10” works very well in a 0.35 cubic foot sealed box.
I second this — or at least directions for those of us who are electrically challenged, like myselfFor a complete idiot, does there happen to be a video of this swap around?
i’d be really surprised if the factory box was smaller than that. It seem to me it’s around that or even slightly larger.I already have a JL 10w3v3-4Ohm and this asks for at least 0.7 cubic feet.

Just follow the instructions in post #1I second this — or at least directions for those of us who are electrically challenged, like myself
Like what do I need besides the pioneer sub? Just tools to drill/unscrew and some enclosure stuffing, or do i need any wiring stuff?
Yes I know, just wondering if there was a video floating aboutStart of the thread has clear pictures
Take charge and make one using post 1Yes I know, just wondering if there was a video floating about
Would make way more sense for someone with knowledge about this stuff to do it rather than meTake charge and make one using post 1
Honestly, it is so simple that if you can't follow post #1 then you probably shouldn't try it yourself.Would make way more sense for someone with knowledge about this stuff to do it rather than me

If you guys would like it - I can make a video in the weekend going though the steps?I second this — or at least directions for those of us who are electrically challenged, like myself
