$500-650 would be typical amount charged for a headers install. If you need some headers check us out here at www.lethalperformance.comAverage might be a wide range..
but.. what is the norm round about cost for a mechanic to install long tube headers?
I don’t see the OP having issues with this in Virginia.Finding a shop to do it is going to be hard. Any shop that does it is taking a huge risk. You might get a mechanic to do it as a side job but if you do don’t expect it to be done over night.
Doesn’t matter what state you are in the penalty is the same. He might be ok in VIRGINIAI don’t see the OP having issues with this in Virginia.
Man If you're doing them that fast you need to do a write up with all the shortcuts you take. Most people I've seen online take about 8-12hrs. Book time from for for both sides 4.3 hrs for driver and 4.9 hrs for passenger. It obviously varies based on the shop, but its a fairly straight forward process honestly, I've done them myself on jackstands in 4 hours. So with that in mind, I would say around 500ish would be a price to look for, but rates are going up at the moment so it will probably be a bit higher than that sadly. If you don't already have a set yet, feel free to shoot me a message and I can get you some for a great price! Lethalperformance.com
