Average cost of headers install?

Hey guys I have the mbrp race cat back exhaust and ordered the stainless works off road headers, what is a fair install price?

I haven't had any installed but a while back when I was wondering the same thing I called a local speed shop that does many s550 modifications and they quoted me at 10 hours of labor give or take 2 hours (they hadn't had a 2015 in yet).

That puts you at about 800 bucks.

Im a south jersey guy. Absolute auto in Vineland can hook you up. As far as central goes. Have you gave big daddies shop a call? They do some high end mustang work so headers should. E a breeze.

Trying to get headers installed in central Jersey may tackle self install with a buddy

Buddy of mine did his own (12 hours) I got mine installed by a local speed shop paid $400 others quoted me 500+

I just had mine installed on Tuesday and they charged me 6 hours, which included a Barton shifter install as well as my thermostat. They quoted me $450 just for the headers over the phone and I paid $540 out the door at $90/hr for the entire package.

I also brought my own connector pipes that I picked up at O'Reilly's for $18

Big Daddies is closed down. We (JDM Engineering) are one of the only actual shops left in the area besides a few one man shows. We are $130/hr and that is lower than some dealers in the area. Headers with a cat back is 8-10 hours when not rushed. We use all upgraded hardware and face all flange surfaces to ensure there are no leaks down the road. You get what you pay for as far as work goes. We have had to redo other shops shoddy work quite often which means you end up paying for the same job twice.

But I do agree Mike at Big Daddy did some great work and even helped me out with my vehicles in the past. He is down in Florida now working at BBR.

Globex Performance in Toms River is pretty good too. Mostly specialize in Jeeps but they also work on Mustangs as well. Stand up bunch of guys.
