I just wanted to check if Deysha got back to the members that he requested PM him their VIN info.
Thanks.
She got back to me and then I got a call from a representative of Ford who said they are doing nothing for me.

I gotta ask . . . Has anyone with the heat issue actually check to see if the fluid level in the trans was topped off?
I know the fill plug is not in a very easy spot to get to, but that would be the first thing I would check.
Dealership checked for me bro. Few times. I've been in 5-6 times or so with HWY overheating.

I believe the current suspicion is some sort of computer issue as we had some strange codes the last time (along with the tranny). Something to do with the rear diffs, but, no sensors exist in those spots...

YEEEEE HAAAAWWW! Right? :frusty:

I think Ford Performance is still working on the two solutions, but the representatives of Ford are denying involvement.

a few of us have essentially been told to "pound sand, we can't do anything for you, find your own solution."

Some have already ditched their gt350, others have opted to take a bath on the 2016 and order a 2017, but all, i can promise are not happy with how the scenario has been handled.
I understand, zombiekiller. You are welcomed to get a second opinion at any other Ford Dealer. Once you make an appointment, PM me with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number. I’ll loop in the customer service manager for your area.

What would you recommend to those who are running into limp mode during street usage, do to help you guys document everything, so that they can have a satisfactory resolution?
You will need to make an appointment and send me your info, Shift. I’ll document it and escalate it.

I've hit limp mode, I plan on going to the dealer soon to get it on record. I'm not pushy for free or anything, but I definitely do want a fix to come sooner than later. My last track day will be in october. It would be nice if I could Give the vettes a run for their money for more than 3-4 laps.
Just to add another data point...

...I'll be scheduling a trip to the dealer to file a 'complaint' and have them send it up the chain as well as calling Ford performance.
Send me your info as well once you make your appointment, guys.

Agreed!
...
I do think the dealers don't report back to Ford with issues on these cars whether factory or dealer related. I am still waiting for the dealer to replace multiple items on my car including front bumper that they power drove screw tips through putting on the splitter.
I just think some of the dealers either weren't taught properly or just don't care or just cut corners that create the problems.
I am pretty happy overall less the items the dealer needs to fix.(Supposedly in the works) As for the coolers I would like them just because I think it would help with the longevity of the car as well as back up the Shelby Performance Lineage.
Anytime you bring your vehicle in and it’s looked into, it does, crazyfish. I’m happy to escalate this for you as well. PM me with your info as well.

I'm still waiting on ford calling me back..my car has almost been sitting a month waiting on a resolution.
I'd really like to drive this car without something going wrong with it.
