He seems like a solid dude. Worked his way up from an Ecoboost. I can't see how anyone can hate on a man like that. He doesn't excessively clickbait, he's not douchey on camera, and he's a genuine enthusiast.

OP, just out of curiosity, what are you apologizing for? What did you do to wrong him?

I tried to watch him, but he just annoys me. I haven't seen a video of his in a long time.

Ive met a few of the good sized Youtubers lately, 2 of them i would actually invite out to do car shit. The others i entertain for various reasons- not bad guys, but definitely not TRUE enthusiasts.

Stangmode and streetspeed come off as genuine people.. their videos? again thats on you, i dont watch much of anyones stuff ( unless im in it) , but i KNOW their intent is right

V: I mean, were they REALLY big, "like how much did they weigh?" (in my best Millennial voice) :-)

In all seriousness however, I agree with your conclusion...their intent is spot on for most. Yes, there are those who lucked out early and made fortunes but none of those people are the type we're discussing.

Another point I wanted to add to the pile is that JUST creating the content and making it eventually "social-media ready," is NOT an easy task. I know because I've tried it. The gear alone for any decent video recording can get quite complex and expensive (and I won't even GET into the editing process,) so any newbie, even the Stangmodes had to start somewhere,) HAS to be committed to the content. If you're not, you won't last a month.

"Genius," now THAT's funny, Tom but thanks. I'm just an amateur image editor with lots of time on my hands. <smiling>

As for Inspiration, all I did was remember the babes I had the hots for as a kid. :-)

So, what was your take on "The Event?"

As I mentioned, I was not, and am not invited. I could hop on an uber and go over there, but I dont think I would get far. I'm thinking of maybe going over to Shelby American to maybe get a first hand look at rapid red. I'm here in Vegas on a layover. I'm working. I'm not here for the "event". Wouldn't it be nice if I could go check it out though?

Anyway, back to Linda Carter, did you ever notice her right boob sags a bit?

Roger on Lynda's sag...<laughing>

I knew they pimped you out of an invite but I thought regular folks could go there and just look around while not getting the driving part. I assume you checked. Bummer.

So, do I understand things correctly, anyone buying the car will eventually get an invite to the same sort of event but at a different location?

No, it is an invite at the discression of ford performance. I was invited to the GT350 track tour, but had to cancel due to work. Maybe that has something to do with why I wasn't invited to this one, who knows.

Your automatic invite will be to the GT500 track attack. Info will be included in your owners kit.

No I didn't check on entry to the speedway. I have a hard time believing that I could just walk in there without creds.

Ah yes, "The Track Tour," now I remember. I plan to go if the trek isn't too far (Now that I'm not working, I try to stay away from airports,) and it would be most cool to meet some forum members at the event.

You're probably right about not getting in without creds.

This event may officially be called the track tour, but it is more like an invite only rollout for PR and press purposes.

I like to disassemble things.
I'd like to mirror the OP but apologize to my late mother instead. Mom, I lied when I said it wasn't me that ate all the Christmas cookies you baked for some old fart bake sale that took place down the street. Also, I did indeed intercept my 2nd grade report card from the mailbox and then burn it in the fireplace.

Phew. All good now.

Upwards of 1mil followers, so, bigger than me lololol

And 100% on the editing and content.
If got the hardware, but the editing required, time expended as well as creativity combined with execution is arguably more important.

Unless your a Kardashian or have a sex tape out there, its a lot of work
