Anyone else having issues downloading the latest sync update?

Just got notice that a new Sync update is out. Something about adding Alexa, Waze, etc..
There's 1 file 4U5T-14G381-AN.tar.gz in the Sync folder that when trying to move to USB says it has an unspecified error so I cant get all files over to update. WinRar says its a corrupt file so I'm assuming this is on Fords side.
Anyone else getting this thats doing the update?
I tried over wifi in the car, but it doesnt pull up the update.

Are you looking do do a Sync update or the maps update. If Sync what version and build # do you have. The latest from the factory is 3.3 19025. Maps is 1.18. You most likely have 1.17.

For the Sync apps update try formatting the USB stick to exFAT instead of FAT32. The maps update must be formatted as FAT32 but the trick is to download the zip file to your desktop then extract to the stick. Then drag the license download file (which is a separate download) into the Sync My Ride folder on the stick.

The exFat formatting is solid advise but the file he is looking for is the 3.3/19025 update (I looked up the file #). I had an issue last week on the download for my wife's 3.0/19205. tried it ten times. It worked on the eleventh. Ford acknowledged their was a problem with that DL.

My 19025 went off without a hitch. Same goes for my wife's Escape both Sync and maps. Different story when I tried updating my maps. Finally was told by ford that I had the updated maps. Due to glitch in the files the Sync Info screen still shows maps 1.17. A fellow forum member confirmed what I had a actually 1.18 Sync 3.4 will fix all so they say. No idea when it's coming officially.

Go to Sync, General, About Sync. You will see this screen. What is you software version and Build #? What you see here is the latest from Ford. And by the way scroll down and you will see your maps version. What does yours say?

OK, just wasn't sure where you were at. I would suggest a chat with the Ford Sync team. That's what I did got my wife's car. turned out to be a download issue from Ford. Maybe your problem is the same.

That's what I'm thinking. It has to be on Fords side. I'll see what they say.

That's exactly what I've been wanting to know. Now it's more proof this is definitely an issue on Fords side.

I called, they told me I was on the most current version available and I shouldn’t be getting any notifications or emails. Mine shows 3.0
