I've used Sirius, Pandora, and Stingray on the base system. I have a Note 4 and S6 Active. The car has done it twice on me, once the dealer pulled the battery and the second time I did it myself. Getting really annoying at this point. Love the car but I can't enjoy the drive if I can't listen to my music.

Try this (at least with the base stereo): turn off the radio but leave the car powered on. Press and hold the seek up and power buttons on the radio for 5 or so seconds until "sync reset in progress" or something pops up. It's fixed my sync music playback issues multiple times.

I've been having sync issues lately (sgs note 4) with a unpair/repair usually fixing the issue. However, my radio (300A base) was completely dead at startup yesterday morning for the first few hours of driving. Radio did not power on, (screen was working, with menu option operating and time/temp/backup camera working), no audio, all buttons both on the steering wheel and the audio was unresponsive. A quick power off of the car did not fix. However, it was back to operational after sitting in the parking lot with motor off for a few hours.

BigEasy, that worked like a charm bro thank you so much. I was resorting to burned cd's lol

Its just sync in general. My dads truck does it as well. Probably why they came out with sync 3 in the new 2016 models.

For anyone still having this problem, go to the Ford website, download the SYNC update, and follow the instructions upload it to your car if you haven't already. I did it about 3 weeks ago and (knock on wood) haven't had the problem since. Worth a shot if you haven't done it yet.

I applied the latest sync update a couple weeks ago and that didnt fix my intermittent sync going "deaf" issue that I have been experiencing for the last 6 months...Today something new. I get "Rear view camera not available" message when backing up and no camera view shows. Good thing I bought the car for the performance and not all this electronic fluffy shit. Still it kind of irks me that I paid for it and it sucks donkey azz...
