Generally around town and out on the freeway, pretty much like a granny, although I will partake this one on-ramp if it is clear. If I go too fast, I will deprive the people of the beauty of the DHG Bullitt….. But once out on the twisties, too bad, if you want to admire it, you have to keep up.......

Ugh, how embarrassing. I pussy foot around my local roads (nothing but local roads here in mid-coast Maine) which are pretty bumpy and narrow. And no traffic so you can’t hide in a crowd of cars (not that I prefer traffic!). So fun driving but only at the speed limit.
Another thing - once I started racing, driving fast on the street lost its appeal.
And I hate tickets and resulting insurance surcharges.

Let me be clear. I'm 44 years old, have had my fair share fast cars ranging from R Volvo's to MB AMG's. However although my car is a GT PP1, I tend to really like to cruise. I don't feel the absolute need to smoke the tires at every stoplight nor drive like Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder. I love the fact when I want to put my foot down, the power is unleashed but normally I just cruise. Maybe because I think she looks soo good.

Anyone else feel the same?
Yup. I’m 50! 50 years old! And I can kick, punch, .....um yeah.

Much safer, more defensive driver, anticipate everything, or at least try. I Don’t exceed speed limit by much, take it easy in neighborhoods, mostly stop at stop signs rarely run red lights.

But there’s an exit from Griffith park to I-5 on my way home where every day, I drop it into drag mode, defeat stability control, and hold it through the 4th gear shift, sometimes paddle shifting at 7800 RPM.

Then I rapidly get on the brakes and settle down, with hairs on end.

Addicted, totally addicted to acceleration and have been since I was 16. Will always be I hope.

Now technically I don't drive like a real granny. My grandma it was all gas or all brake, not much in between. I get on my car a bit but honestly I live in Austin and I work from home. When I do get out it's through a lot of traffic and/or if I do get on her, it's not long before I'm WAY over the speed limit and the fear of having a 100+ mph speeding ticket worries me. So I get on her a bit but most of the time I just really like to enjoy the moment, and cruise.

Well when I say drive like a granny, I'm not talking about 10-15 mph under the speed limit. I'm more talking that I get on it occasionally but most of the time I just like to cruise and enjoy the ride.
If that's your definition of "driving like a granny", then nearly all of my straight line street driving falls into that category. Hasn't mattered what I was driving. I do turn the wick up a bit in the curves and corners, but even that's pretty granny-ish by track day standards where there's some incentive to get serious about all of the car's performance capabilities.

Okay so I "had" to go to the store to get cream for coffee tomorrow so I took the long way home. On our main streets it's about 55mph and honestly when you get on it you kinda do granny drive it because it's all gas and then immediate brake :) Love the car.

Moderate driving for me 80% of the time, and my GT Premium is a great comfy grand touring cruiser for that kind of driving

Actually got pulled over for going too slow leaving Skyline Drive some years ago in my 01 GT. Still cruise in my 15 PP on long drives, but occasionally push it on curvy roads.Nice to have that power but still cool to just cruise and listen to the Flowmasters.
