Tony, you always seem to comes through with info and good pictures. Thanks again. :clap2:
There's a lot of people who have posted a lot of good stuff here on the forum. If you incessantly read it like I do, you start to remember it and be able to search for it faster :)

I don't know anything about exhaust systems and tuning, so I don't know how the exhaust changes from the SRA to IRS might affect the exhaust note, but I am very anxious to hear the v6 and EB in person.
I also don't know how these routings will affect the sound as compared to the previous Mustangs with which I am familiar (SN-95 and S197), but I also am with you. I am anxious to hear them as well. I think they have to be experienced both inside and outside the car.

I also think the "resonator box" in the middle of the pipes adds a new variable to consider in the sound. Right now, I am not assuming that anything out there for the current Mustang will immediately transfer over without some form of modification. We might be pleased with what we hear stock, or we might have some ideas about where we want to get. I'll be awaiting the early adopters of aftermarket exhausts to compare what I hear in the stock set-ups.

Unless something changes in Feb or March when I order my Mustang, it's going to be the V6 with the 051A package with auto trans. I've been in two of them, and I really like the car because in order to get what I really want is have to get the Ecoboost Premium which is a lot more. I like the look, love the wheels with the package and the interior is very nice.

As to the "love factor" I am positive we will have a lot of parts that can upgrade the V6 . There's already exhaust system and CAI options, Roush has the body kit and spoiler and I'm sure there will b others, and as far as upgrades to the interior, the toggle switches should be easy to swap if you choose, and you can always upgrade to leather either with takeoff pieces from EBay or going the Katzkin or other route. I'm also sure they will make grills and perhaps even the pony puddle lights as well. I intend to have this car at least 5 years so I can do some upgrades as I go. I want stripes, a Roush spoiler, and a plain grill with the Tribar logo on the side. I think that would look hot and then get leather interior doing magnetic grey so might do a deep read leather when I get to year three lol

what's the chance if the V6 engine is discontinued the '15 and maybe '16 cars become 'collectors' editions ?

I'm skeptical.

The V6 might be rare in terms of numbers produced in the S-550, but I don't think it will be desirable as a collector car. Don't get me wrong, I plan to buy one and I think it is the best choice for a fun yet practical sports car. In the S-550, it is the best example of what a pony car is meant to be (the EB guys will argue this point, of course).

But, when it comes to a collectable car, I don't think it measures up.

More likely the EB 2.3 I4 will become a collectors item when its trashed in a year or two for the EB 3.5 V6.

HUGE numbers of V6's will be built for rental fleets. I would imagine that 90% of the rental Mustangs will be V6's. Retail V6's might be rare, but the market will be flooded with used rental cars in a couple of years if people want to buy one after they're discontinued.

If you want a Base V6 2015 Mustang Coupe/Fastback or Convertible and want to make sure its doesn`t look like a Rental Car, simply order the upgraded Equipment Package 051A. No Rental Fleets will opt for the extra $995 cost. Even with the Spoiler Delete, the added 18`` Foundry Wheels & Tires, Flood Lamps and Power Seat will make your V6 stand out in a crowd of others.

Real Sweet! Whats that "Black" Sirius Antenna? A Dealer Installed retrofit? Sirius Satellite Radio is (not) a Factory available Option but a Dealer installed Unit. Factory Sirius Antenna are painted the same color as Exterior paint. Get rid of that ugly Dealer License Plate Tag holder "now"!
PS: Is that "Black Object" located lower center of rear window the "enhanced security" sensor, (not) the Sirius Satellite Antenna? If so, first one I`ve seen Posted.

If that Black Antenna is for Sirius Satellite Radio, it was a Dealer Installed Unit. All Factory Sirius Radios have Color Matched Antenna`s mounted center just "above" the rear window on Coupes/Fastbacks and on the Trunk Deck for Convertibles. Sirius Satellite Radio is (not) an available Factory Ordered Option on the Base V6 Coupe/Fastback or Convertible.

It is the magnetic antenna I installed with the portable SiriusXM Radio. It will be replaced with another when the Ford upgrade kit becomes available.

The Dealer Electronics Sub-Contractor that does all the Warranty work for Local Ford Dealerships in my area said that it is in the works and should be availably shortly. Says, just like for 2014 Mustang retro-fit Kit, it will have the same Black magnetic Sirius Antenna which he adds two faced 3M Tape to to assure a firm fastening. He says, unless its a Factory Installed Sirius Antenna thats painted the exterior paint color, the add on antenna should (not) be repainted to assure proper reception. For that reason, like they say on the "Shark Tank", I`m Out! To have a Black Nub centered on the rear trunk deck of the Convertible would stick out like a soar thumb on any color other then Black, Guard, or Magnetic. Race Red, no way Jose.

I just picked up my V6 and i love it! Yea the GT and EB have more HP and torque but I love how was V6 responds. The only mods I probably will do on mine are Intake and Exhaust.
