Worst negative I've had so far - My friend's toddler immediately started crying and repeating "bad guy car" after his dad got in the car.

so far just older muscle heads dogging me for havin the ecoboost. One guy at work came up to me and said it was a beautiful car and then turned around and told me how shitty it was and i should have been smart and just saved up for the GT because "4 bangers are for chicks and guys who can't handle power" after I pulled out and showed my dyno chart and title he got quiet and walked back to his oldsmobile alero.

I had just gotten out of my car at work when a rather unpleasant woman who works in the same building was walking past. She looked at the car sideways for a moment then said "It's got a fat ass".

Evidently "So do you" is considered a very rude reply...

Just stick 5.0 liter emblems on your car and be done with it. A pair cost a whopping $10 to $12 including shipping on eBay.

Oh god i couldnt imagine doing that.

Funny thing is if i stuck that on my v6....i probably wouldnt turn anymore heads than i already do now...and the only people i would impress are a bunch of dudes until they hear that its not really a GT. And the normal folk probably wouldnt even care and just see it as a mustang. No need for the emblem...although they should have side emblems for the 3.7 and eb engines, the cyclone emblems that were being sold look badass.

People are actually surprised when I tell them it's a 4 since they are just looking at how "pretty" it is lol

Only time was when someone told me it's wrong and only v8s should be in muscle cars then I told them the mustang isn't even a muscle car and then that conversation went downhill but that's what I get for entertaining an ignorant person who thought the EB had 150 hp
Dont go on this site than
Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain
we have been arguring for years about you must have a V8 to drive a real Mustang, just ask TT :D

When I showed my friend the new mustang and told her I was going to get one, she said it looked like a car douchebags drive.

I've only had two people comment negatively on my Mustang. Funny enough, neither of them have even seen it (or a new 2015) in person.

Guy #1 just doesn't seem to appreciate most new cars in general, but he only seems to have an appreciation for Lotus', Audi's, etc. He thinks I should trade my Mustang for a Lotus Elise as a daily driver. I remind him that would cost me about double what I paid for the Mustang, for a car that - while fun - is not actually very good as a daily driver.

Guy #2 drives a minivan, and he says he likes driving minivans, so I'm pretty sure his opinion is not valid. He classifies himself as "not a car guy", yet thinks he needs to knock on me for driving a Mustang. Remind me again why he even cares what I drive?

One guy I know said that my GT is "not a Ferrari." I happily agreed with him!

I have a friend with a Comp. Orange '15 Ecoboost and I give him gentle ribbing about his car, calling it "Pinto", "Maverick", but we're thick as thieves so we do that just for fun. He often makes fun of me for my love of tan interiors, vinyl tops and wire wheels.

My cousin whom I work with is the definitive douchbag. His wife makes all the money and he'd probably be living under a bridge if it wasn't for her. When I announced I was ordering a '16 GT (with zero options) he started giving me flack about how I shouldn't buy a car I can't afford. He's going to get a Shelby 350 using his wife's money. (Which is complete BS, the dude has never driven/owned a performance car in his life) and I highly doubt with kid #2 recently falling out, she'll let him blow $75k on a toy he'll never use.

Still is funny to listen to that sort of BS come out his mouth.

That's been about the only negative comment, aside from a few folks chiding me for ordering what is essentially a stripper GT. But I say, why pay for something you don't want or need? It still has the V8, same power as a GT Premium, so what do I care? :D

The only negative thing I've ever had said was one of my gf's coworkers at their company Christmas party. He drives a BMW 4 series coupe. I forget which (not an m4) and was making snide remarks about my car and talking down to me about it subtly. Everyone else at the party was telling me how good it sounded and how much they liked the car. I think it hurt his Bavarian ego.
