From China, with love??? LOLStarted even earlier today..got the wing, brackets, and OEM vent coated so I am finished other than reassembly. <whew!> Sure hope Tom's CARE package arrives today so I can finish this project up tomorrow. That will be eleven days.
Oh BTW, this little ditty (1/2" x 1") was stuck on the bottom of the wing in a very inconspicuous location. 24 gee's...geeze, givemeabreak, bro!

Hey KB,Probably Tom, but only for a few weeks hopefully. I'm in the first batch of Pythons from Terrance so I will be installing the new vent as soon as I receive it.
Wow KB,.......looks awesome! After you do Jaime's car, you can do mine.
That's awesome.S3: Yep, he rarely leaves my side...that's "Buddy." :-) He's a huge help (not) but I love him dearly. His sister, Lucy, was in the house. They're rescues from our Dobie kennel.
All that work saved you about $3k, looks good, getting ready to cut down my clear coat and coat paint as well, just seeing what guys are using on this Mustang paint. ThanksHey Jason, I used:
Rupes 1", 2", and 5" Fine & Ultrafine pads with a couple 2" Griot's thrown in for more aggressive spots.
90 percent M205 with occasional spots requiring M105 or Rupes Coarse
And...(drum roll please...) as of 0900 CDT...
I AM FINISHED!! Sure hope I don't have to do this again anytime soon. :-) I figure I have about fifty hours in it.
Cut out the wing bracket gaskets, (thanks again, Tom,) stuck them down, and re-installed the brackets. Threw a few pillows on the deck lid, set the wing on it until I got the bolts aligned, and tightened everything down. Easy peazy and I went ahead and set the track AOA just for sh-ts and grins.
Unfortunately, it's a downright ugly, foggy, drizzly day here in South Texas so photos will have to wait.
