I like to disassemble things.
What exactly should I be looking for when shopping for some Tom? I just wanna be prepared for when/if I get a wing.
Mcmaster Carr.
Did you ever find out where to get those GT4 caster/camber plates?
Multimatic, but I think I mentioned that earlier. They won't work on the mag dampers up front though and are setup to fit Multimatic's DSSV dampers.

You did. I've been thinking a swap may be in the future.

Love to see it. Those dampers are expensive! May need the GT4 rear lower control arm for a DSSV coilover too...

The sun FINALLY came out and I grabbed a couple three more shots of the girl. Still have to put OG's suggestion of Wolf's coating on the glass and, she'll get an afternoon application of Reload as a topper to the ceramic. That should duit.

A job well done!

Nothing like stepping back and admiring the results of a big detail like that, certainly very satisfying and worth the hurt on the body.

How is the Kranzle going?

Yep, DFB, I do a lot of that standing around looking.

The Kranzle just could NOT be ANY better, it really is the perfect machine for the jobl.
No argument from me on that. I'm coming up to point where I will need to change the oil on mine, almost had it a year now.

Yes, it seems you have to wag the fifty hours but I figure it gets used maybe a total of thirty minutes per wash so that's a chidtload of washes before the oil change is due.
Do let me know how it goes please.,
I have probably used mine a bit more than the average hobbyist.

I do a few paid detailing jobs to supplement my income. It is doing these jobs that makes me glad I bought the Kranzle, it's extra power/flow rate really helping on these dirtier cars.

I also recently added this rather sexy looking Mosmatic wand holder to the garage wall, mounted in a convenient place.

I think the looks of it are just as good as the functionality it adds. 😁

Excuse the state of my garage floor.

DFB: I didn't SEE that wand holder at OG, is that where you got it? Until now, I've just been using the compartments on the front to hold the wand. I can't tell, is it chrome or stainless?
The want holder is Stainless Steel. And yes, I did detail it after installation!

I bought mine from an Australian "version" of Obsessed Garage -

If you search brands, select Mosmatic and you will find it. Or follow my link. :like:

Thanks, amigo and as it happens, I just watched the OG clip where Matt is washing his GT4, and I saw the Mosmatic sleeve in the background. Having a dedicated "wash bay" is the cat's meow and not something I'll ever have probably but that's where the wand holder shines. I might still pick one up to put on the wall next to the machine. But, come to think about it, I would just have to move it from the wall to one of the wand holder ports on the machine when I roll it out so, maybe the tube isn't for me. But damn would I like to have the overhead boom rig... <BIG sigh> Maybe in another life, huh? ;-)

KB, thanks again for your detail help. I ended up ordering a Flex PXE 80 kit to do my wing. Looking forward to slinging compound.
