Does anyone know without question whether or not there will be future allocations or model years of the GT350?

I currently have my 2015 GT PP on the market and want to upgrade. It sure would be nice to know what the future holds for the GT350 before I sell it.

Ford claimed they were sold out. That would imply all the allocations are spoken for. Unless they just lied. which is possible :p

MY2018 GT350? Well I would not be surprised either way it goes... we'll see sooner or later.

The allocations may be all used up but my guess is Dealers were given allocations that will not be built until later in the model year. I don't think this means they are done building GT350's. Doubt they have made 4-5k already.

If they are done with production, I wonder how many they could have made since June?

Yup... that is possible. I know of one dealer that has a MY2017 non-R allocation but it cannot be built yet. The rep stated it'll be a later build in the production cycle. I passed it along to a forum member looking for one... hope he gets a good deal and he takes it. ;)

I will be in the market very soon. Have my Mom's house on the market and once it sells I get serious.

Note that if it is true that all allocations have been made, some are for dealer inventory (vs pre-committed sales). So there still may be a few available, but already spec'ed.

Jim Owens at the recent Ford Track Attack suggested that 17 was the last year. I asked "because 18 brings the new GT500?". He was less direct about answering that. He did confirm to me again that the Voodoo is only for the 350.

As stated above, the few who actually know this answer are not revealing it yet. My guess is that 17 is the last year, but that is speculation. You keep interest high by special content and limited availability.

An allocation being spoken for isn't same thing as that car being sold to a customer. It just means they have no longer unassigned allocations in their order bank, every allocation for the year is spoken for. It doesn't mean those cars are sold as most cars are "dealer ordered". It's the same thing in any car manufacturer.

You will know more towards spring whether they are sold out if you cannot find anything in dealer lots.

For what it is worth I had a dealership call me yesterday telling me that he is 75% sure that he is getting an R model allocation with production scheduled for next spring and will confirm with me sometime next week.

I know this gentlemen pretty well therefore his comments are legit which suggests to me that there are still some additional R model allocations to be had out there for the 2017MY.

Hopefully this allocation will work out for a good friend of mine!

From all my experience...these threads will reveal who is full of shit and who pretends to not be full of shit.

My brother's best friends buddy who is a GM of an owner of a dealer who got ass raped by some....blah blah blah...

Fact of the matter....no one knows if the b.s. ADMs are here to stay or going to disappear for the R's.. All depends on number of units offered AND demand.

I feel bad for those who paid $30k-$50k over.

I can tell you that I " had " a 15 GT/PP that I supercharged, Eibach springs swaybars full Roush exhaust,,,,,ext 600rwhp. I had every intention of keeping this car to go along with my 350 a little mix of power high torque and a high rev'ing. I just sold my 15 GT/PP 2 days ago. I never drove it any more, the 350 is so much fun and full experience to drive.

I love to hear these types of stories....it makes the wait tolerable and at the same time unbearable.
