No, I had a '13 Raptor before that. I did hit the dunes in that and broke it pretty quickly. It only got maybe 1mph worse gas mileage than my ecoboost. But then I do have a lead foot.

Knowing what I know now, if I had it to do over, I wouldn've found a Platinum with the 6.2L and that sweet sweet rumble in it.

No great complaints about the ecoboost though. It's a great engine.

I had a '13 Plat w/ Ecoboost. Bad ass ride. Could tow my '71 Boss and still get 16.7Mpg. I didn't think you could get the Plat with the 6.2L tho cause I looked everywhere for it.

Ford made 'em with the 6.2L just not anywhere near the ecoboost numbers. Yeah, they were probably hard to find, maybe even had to pay an ADM. Do you guys want to have a debate about whether or not one should pay an ADM on a F-150 Platinum with a 6.2L in it? Let me know.
