It will always be a long wait regardless, unless you pick one off a lot. I managed to find a reputable dealer who would not take a deposit until they had a confirmed allocation. YMMV. When I placed my deposit, I required it be fully documented and fully refundable for any reason.

FWIW, I wanted the gloss black to match the original wheels. However, the satin hides the brake dust better than gloss.
