initially i had rear shock mounts from manufacturer 'a' and as they were squeaking i removed them and replaced them with manufaturer 'b' shock mounts. these also squeaked. curiously they both made the exact same sound. i believe this is not a sound emanating from the mount itself, but is likely a transmitted sound from lower in the suspension. with the stock mounts in place you do not hear it due to the rubber isolator. examining the shock i noticed at the lower mount, there is a rubber bushing and likely this is what is the source of the sound. there is also a fair amount of play in the bushing, making the benefit of putting a bearing in the top mount seem unlikely. overall, i think this is one mod that isnt worth doing.

Is it worth doing? Depends on you, and the cars intended use.

researching this a bit, it appears there are aftermarket polyurethane replacements for the shock eye bushing at the bottom of the rear shock. has anyone tried this and does anyone know which one would fit the koni yellow?

Not trying to hijack, just a question sorta pertains ..I got a sagging pass rear and wondering if the shock mount or shock is the problem

Springs hold the car up so if it's sagging look at them first.

Did you upgrade your shocks when you installed the Sportlines?
