There are tons of options for aftermarket shock mounts for non magnaride cars, does anyone know who makes them for magnaride cars. Trying to get rid of the the rear end bounce after doing LCA bearings.

I just ordered them also, I’m gunna install them Sunday. I’m looking at them and there are 2 mounting hole options. I’m thinking I’m gunna go with the lower hole to give the shock more travel. Figured the car is lowered on ford w springs witch is 3/4 in drop should be close to factory moving the mount up with the lower bolt holes.

Did the install after work today took about 4 hrs total. Hardest part was the de pinning, I messed up the first side and ended up soldering it back together witch isn’t the end of the world but sucks when you need to remove the shock but I’ve done everything I need to do in the rear so I doubt I will have to remove it anytime soon. Drilled the cap with a 1/4 drill bit and used a grommet in my harbor freight grommet kit I’ve had for 15 years. The second side went a lot faster I didn’t even take the shock out just dropped it and took old mount off. Took it for a quick ride definitely can feel the improvement well worth it car isn’t bouncing around anymore. I think I was getting use to the bounce because it feels like a different car now. I’m also in NH so the roads suck. I use to notice it a lot on the highway in light traffic going around 50 to 55 so we will see when I take it out more.

I installed a set last winter. J&M said "Do Not" use the bottom hole to increase stroke. So I cut 1/2" off of the rear rubber bump stops and everything works great. I installed them to give me more clearance for my 325/30/19 tires.

im thinking of tackling this over the weekend. Any pics of final instal? Still a bit confused as to getting wire through without cutting.
