Upgraded shock mounts

Are upgraded shock mounts necessary for HPDE when using Koni or Steeda shocks or true coilover systems?

Anyone with extensive track experience have any feedback on the performance/durability of Steeda shock mounts?

Are they necessary on cars with lowering springs and stock PP shocks?

You don't have to but I upgraded to steedas Billet shock mounts. They are really nice pieces and are much more stout.

I also like how they have a spherical bearing inside that helps keep the shock from binding.

Just curious, I had asked the question in the GT350 section, but no one replied:

Does the GT350 or 350R come with the same rear shock mounts as other S550's, or do they come with an upgraded RSM with their suspension package?

Nope same trash as the regular s550
