Yes, at my age I plan to keep it, at least until I get to the point where driving a clutch is a problem. Even then, I will probably keep it and let the nephews and grandkids drive it. I have no desire whatsoever for a S650. The video screen dash is a complete turn off and I can think of dozens of things I'd rather layout $60 - 80K for.

Forever is a long time. I usually get in and out of cars every 4-5 years. I’m approaching 4 years on my GT and I do love it. Looked at trading it for a Mach a few times but just couldn’t do it.

I will definitely keep it longer than I usually do, there are other cars I want to add to the stable at some point too. C7 Vette, S550 GT500 are a couple. If this 4 door Mustang sedan comes to fruition, I could see myself getting one for daily duty. C8 Vette’s are kinda boring to drive. Wouldn’t mind a Dark Horse SC but I do have a thing for the Shelby name which is why I’d go S550 GT500 over Dark Horse SC.

Electronics is the biggest concern with any modern car. There’s lots of S550’s out there, so finding replacements shouldn’t be too hard for a while. And there will continue to be aftermarket support for certain parts for a long time. Just look at the aftermarket parts available for Foxes, SN’s and S197’s.

Long winded way of saying mine will be around for a while yet, but likely not forever. It’s one of, if not the best car I’ve owned to date though. Had an F body Camaro SS that was a blast for the time period (sounded great with Flowmaster exhaust as well), as was my supercharged Monte Carlo SS. A C7 Vette still calls my name though…

Keeping my '22 GT for the foreseeable future, I had a '16 previously. From the Tri-bars to the dual cowls, to the presence of physical AND touch screen controls just to name a few. I've always liked the s550 style.

I have a 2011 V6 and a 2015 GT pp and they are both staying and if I can get my hands on a GT 500 or Mach1 I would own them as well. Also have 6 Harleys from 1974 to 2003 anniversary edition and a 2010 F150 Harley edition nothing is for sale. I am only 75 so I have lots of time to find more cars. My dream car is the GT 40. (all of them are Black)

Ford has given me no reason to "upgrade" my Mach 1 to anything on their dealer lots, so I'm keeping it.

Will keep my 2016 forever. At least I’d like to think so. Due to the sheer number of fools on the road two of my previous cars have been accordioned. I have no intention of letting it go.

This will be my last Mustang, purchased it a month ago on BaT.
I'm 70 now and it was a retirement gift to myself. My boys and I plan on enjoying this baby for many, many miles.
Previous Mustangs were a 1970 BOSS302 in 1972, another 70 BOSS302 in 1997, a 2007 GT500 in 2007, an unrestored 1965 289 Coupe in 2009 that I had fun restoring.

Well, my Bullitt was the replacement for a C5 Z06 (heavily modded) and was intended to be a daily driver and not a project car...that didn't last long after my grandson took me for a ride in his '15 GT (built out as a drag car) all of a sudden it was 1970 again and I was back in my green '70 mach 1 drag pack car, so now the Bullitt has evolved to a booster track/street monster thanks to a lot of Steeda and ESS $tuff...my grandson has since gone JDM and drives some sort of hotrod Honda but when he comes to visit I let him take out the Bullitt just to remind him how a "real car" feels...and no I don't have any intention of parting with it and when I do it will go to my grandson but that will be whenever I can no longer drive or breathe, whichever comes first...and I'm only 83...

Have a '19 Bullitt and '21 Gt Convertible i assumed at 63 I'd be keeping both but with petrol going through the roof down here the Bullitt might have to get the push. I'm hoping this strait of Hormuz thing get finished quickly.

I love my S550, peak Mustang, it is not. Maybe performance wise, but looks wise, not even close. The S197 cars, 13-14 in particular, look a lot better, not to mention 64-70 lol.

Ugh, only thing I liked about those (13-14) was that they still sounded better than the Camaro. IMHO they don't hold a candle to the S550 looks-wise. Now if we're going to '65-66, those were great looking.

I bought mine with the intent of driving it until I can’t. I’m not worried about the mechanicals holding up, I think it’s the electronics that will be the problem. I do think the 550 is one of the best looking models to date.

This is my "keeper" and I have had a great time customizing it. Been offered more than I have put into it at car shows and still not interested in letting her go. Tough day and all I have to do is come home a take her for a ride.

Picked up my 22 in April 23 as a "leftover" and selling/trading hasn't even crossed my mind. Before buying it, my wife and I were looking for a fun car that would last us until we couldn't drive it anymore.

So, yes, it's a keeper unless priorities change and we have to head another direction.

I tend to keep my cars (any car, not just sporty ones) a minimum of 10 years. My Honda is 14 years old and that pretty much sums up my car ownership history. Had a '78 Granada ESS that I traded in for an '89 Accord LXi (focused more on family at that time). Being retired my GT is my last new car as I dubbed it my "retirement car". Yeah, it's an A10 because I didn't want the hassles of tiring my left leg in traffic or dealing with hydraulic clutch issues that I saw so much of in Rangers, etc. It's still fun when in 'S' mode.
