60,000 miles!

Driving the mustang much too often. Work and fun have equaled to 60k miles in almost exactly 2 years. 10/11/14 purchase date. No complaints. Livernois tune at 30k. Impressed how car has held up. No real mechanical problems and after taking it to dealer at 60k when they cleaned out the fuel injection system, the car is running best it ever has. Just have to drive my other car more. No hurry to get to 100k.

I'm looking at beaters right now too, I got rid of my truck in the summer and I don't think I want all the salt on the car when it gets to be snow time. I've driven my car for about 3 weeks total and already have 5000 miles on it :(

Congrats on having worry free miles to date. I got my company car (2015 Ford Fusion hybrid) in mid-Dec. 2014 and my 2015 Kona LE on Jan 2nd 2015. I currently have 59,813 miles on Fusion Hybrid and 14,650 on the Mustang. I am very grateful that I have a company car!!

When I got my car, I expected to be right there with you. 8400 miles in the first three months. Then we moved. I have added another 8100 miles in the next 20 months, LOL. So I will be at about 16,500 at two years, rather than 60,000.

Had I known this, I might have gotten the MT rather than the AT. But maybe not. I really like my car.

You said you got fuel system cleaned? With the EB and the carbon buildup did you notice any problems as you got up in the miles? And how exactly did they clean it out and how much did you pay?
