I have a dealer loaner Fiesta that I was driving today. Pretty much have to floor it to get it to move at a decent pace. I rented a Fiesta a couple of years ago and that car definitely had more pep.

That’s what I figured. My dealers service department has been pretty good for many years. Seems today they ripped me off.
They even charged me to add an “oil conditioner “.

Recently bought a Mazda CX-5 for my wife. Nice car(or station wagon i like to think) that has a decent amount of room. My wife told me the saleswoman mentioned the wide seats. I figure that is for big American asses.
Maybe that's why Americans like bigger vehicles.
Isn't that because Ford made a short-sighted decision not to put any money into a new Ranger? So they convinced themselves that people don't want compact or mid sized trucks. What they really want is a full sized F150.
So now GM is selling all the massively over-priced Colorados and Canyons...
