My 2017 GT350 is back at the dealer getting a few unrelated parts added on.
They checked the oil and based on current level compared to last change it's consuming around 1 quart/500 miles. May be a little bit less then that.
Car had engine replaced around 4k miles and is now at 26k so it's already on its second engine. Car runs perfect other then the oil burning quicker than I'd like. I've only put about 4k miles on myself and didn't start really monitoring oil levels till now so I'm not sure what previous consumption may have looked like. This car is a true joy to drive and I was very much planning to go the route of forced induction but am of course concerned with the possibility of it eating more and more oil quicker as time passes.
As most know Ford mentions 500/quart is normal for this performance vehicle but then I see people getting 1k miles or much higher per quart. Driving style is very spirited, gets pushed a few times almost every drive. No track days.
Anybody else with similar driving style at same consumption and have you continued to drive the car for a long period without it getting worse? My next plan when I get the car back tomorrow is to do 200 miles of non spirited easy driving and see how that changes things.
