Conservative isn't necessarily a bad thing though
but I'll lose at the local pink sheet races if I don't have my shot of Nitrous and 18 forward gears and boost turned to the max!

I had a Five Star turn on my F150, I never had any problems with it but I never logged it or anything

I had a G8 GT (and a GTO), don't worry it's not even in the same zip code as your Mustang GT

The 93 octane 5 Star tune on my 2019 F250 6.2 is fantastic. Much more fun to drive now. That thing was a dog after i put 285/75/18 tires on it. 5 Star woke it right up. And i think its getting a little better mileage as well.

It is weird how these cars don't feel as quick as they are. You basically have to watch the speedo lol
This... the coyote has such a linear pull it doesn't feel as fast as it is. I've had plenty of pushrod guys in my car that didnt think it felt that fast until they glanced over at the speedo and couldn't believe how fast we were actually going.

This is one reason I like the 18 up truck manifold. It has a solid torque boost at 3000, sets you back in your seat even at part throttle.

Then you slam into the steering wheel at 6200? 😁😋

No 7000

It actually works better than the stock gen 2 GT manifold. Same top end and more midrange.

That's what forced induction is for! 😂

I finally got a chance to do at least one 0-60 run in the g8 & it ran 5.1 with my torque pro app which idk how accurate that is but the fastest ive ever ran with my mustang with the same app is 5.0 so i guess my butt dyno is pretty accurate? Its gotta be that the mustang spins a lot? But even when i try to feather the throttle i still haven't ran any faster than 5.0 0-60 with both the torque pro app & the dash timer? Maybe ill try some timed 1/4 runs & see how close they are. Hopefully the mustang should have a lot faster mpg

Lack of low end torque. Its a lower displacement high revving V8.

0 to 60 is not a good metric. It is 100% traction and driver competence. Try 60 to 100 or 60 to 130.

When I first got my GT I thought it was a 14 second 1/4 mile car from the butt dyno. It ran 12.1 at 112 or something close. I was really surprised.

Try 60 to 100 or 60 to 130
or if you want to stay out of jail 15-80. There are a couple I-95 onramps near me that lend themselves to this kind of exercise.

But why are you making by guess and by golly statements? Strap both cars on a Dyno and get PROOF to corroborate your finely tuned butt?
I wish they put this on the car as a warning label. Sure would save a lot of grief.
