343 cid....it’s only .040” more bore diameter than the standard 5.2.
Thanks.
I understand that 5.6L is 343 cid .
The 3.83 stroke crank with the 5.2/3.7 makes 5.4 L .
Will the 3.83 stoke crank and 5.6 make 5.8L ?

The 5.6 liters is derived using the spec sheet max bore of 3.740” and max stroke of 3.897”. Adding an extra .003” stroke only gets you an extra 0.25 cid.

Just stumbled across this thread, lots of good information! I just picked up my predator block from my local dealer this evening. Wanted to grab one of these before the pricing went through the roof...

I considered it but ultimately went with the boss/coyote crank .
The predator crank is different from the coyote (I think ) in that it has a slightly longer stroke -3.661 vs 3.649.
I know of several “hardcore” builds using it . I spoke with the builders and they say it not only provides a little more compression/displacement but also improves the “quench” .
I cheaped out as I did not want to spend the extra $800. Best price I have seen is $1100.
it’s the same as the one used in the 5.2 Alluminator XS

I've looked at pics of it, it looks like a really nice piece! Has mallory metal in it etc. Thinking this might be a bargain for what it is, but just not sure it is necessary at the power level I'm going to be at. The BOSS replacement crank is a third of the price and guys making alot of power with that crank in their motors...
