Sweet; do you think it is as loud as the MBRP street? I had the street and got rid of it after one day.
I would says it's right about the same volume. It's been a while since I had it. If anything it's slightly louder than the street. If the street is a 4 than the Mach is a 5.

Cool thanks. It's really hard to judge from videos, but Mach does sound pretty loud and I really just want more of a deep growl.

I actually was considering the Roush AB; seems nice and deep and only screams at WOT. I just can't stand just doing a AB, I'd rather do the full cat back to get better flow.

I have a friend who has the Flowmaster Thunder on his Camaro and it sounds awesome; but for stang you need to cut, which I'd rather not do.

Am I the only one that enjoys a loud, raspy exhaust?

I think the IV is pretty tame. It only gets attention when you mash it.

i never had rasp problems until I went with long tubes. they were catless just so you know. I started with sp headers mated to borla atak. it sounded great but raspy and stupid loud. I don't mind loud so long as it's clean. then I tried sp headers with sw catback. deep but droned bad in cabin. so then I tried borla s type, again catless. that was my least favorite. I pulled them off after 100 miles.

then I sold everything an swapped to arh catless headers and corsa sport. it was similar to s type. sounded great wot but at 3k shifting it was embarrassing. all these systems sound great with stock headers and cats. so I am coming to the conclusion that to kill rasp, get hi flow cats. I now have full arh system header back, since I already have arh headers now- which I recommend, system will be the catted h pipe lead pipes back. once it gets delivered I hope to high heavens I will like it. I think I will.

at the end of the day, I ran into rasp problems when I did catless headers. my advice is to get catted headers instead. I will hopefully confirm this this weekend. I have had this arh ordered for a week and a half now direct from arh. it's really pissing me off its taking so long.
Check out the first video in the link I posted at the bottom of page 2 of this thread. Full ARH w/hi-flo cats and h-pipe. A number of ~3,000rpm shifts. As heard from inside the car with windows down.

I like it sounds fine tbh I think people just want old sound which I personally don't think sounded super great. I like the little rasp my MBRP street gives then again im just getting into mustangs. Still love my '15 5.0 and a little rasp never hurt anyone.

If no rasp is what you're going for, I would look into the Solo systems for that true old school muscle car sound with little to no rasp at all. My exhaust set-up is loud as heck and slightly raspy but I wouldn't have it any other way. The little bit of rasp I do have makes it sound almost exotic.

How is the rasp with catted ARH or Kooks along with either of the Corsa catbacks? I've heard plenty of the catless setups and they're all raspy. On my '02 SS, I eliminated the rasp by adding cats using a very loud exhaust. I wanted to see if some S550 owners were experiencing the same result with catted headers and the Corsa systems?

I had both MBRP exhausts. Even had additional mufflers installed in the Race exhaust to try to get rid of the drone. The street was soo Raspy I took it off immediately. I now have the SOLO Mach exhaust. Has a great sound. Don't know how it's so deep with an X pipe muffler but it is. I would check out the Solo exhaust options. Great bang for the buck. One of the nice things about having the X muffler up front is that it leaves a lot of pipe area to add additional mufflers later if you find it too loud with Headers. This is probably what I'll do.
If you want to hear the mach xv system with kooks catless headers, I live up in Glen Burnie.
