I"m a bit in exhaust hell... I had the MBRP street and hated it due to rasp. Then I got the Solo exhaust and it droned like crazy; and sounded a bit crappy as well.
I have been back with stock for a few months and need a bit of a volume kick.
Anyone suggest the Roush over the...
I get it too; it's the metal trim by the vents. It does it on a hot day when I first start up and have the ac on. If you press around that trim it re-seats it and stops doing it for a while.
Do you have any videos uploaded? I have gone through a few systems and have had drone, rasp and vibration; these were cat back systems, but I think the AB may be best for me. I just don't want it too loud or too raspy.
I use mine as DD and love the 3.15's. I originally had a 2015 EB mustang that was getting 24MPG and my GT with 3.15's gets 21MPG. I think that is insane for a 435HP V8 on my commute of mixed driving.
I have had two 2015 Mustangs
1. 2015 EcoBoost Premium - No issues; this car was solid but wanted the GT so it was traded.
2. 2015 GT premium - No major issues, only the brown stitching on the seats (fixed) and a squeaky seat back that was fixed as well and I think this was due to them fixing...
What gears do you have? I have an auto with 3.15's and think that's killing me with the drone at the lower RPM's. I really hope I can tune it out with the J-Pipes. Personally I think the break in is BS, but just following instructions and did wait until the 1k mark before the first adjustment...
Thanks Steve. I was over the 1k mark before the first adjustment. I'll try to extend further as you said. I did speak to bob and he said to start with 1/4" increments. Maybe it needs larger adjustment...
Still having drone issues; I adjusted the J-pipe 1/4in first, now out 1/2 inch. No change on either adjustment. I may try moving the pipes in and see what happens.
Anyone else have this issue or corrected it? Thanks
I adjusted the J-pipe a 1/4 inch out last week, but still have a pretty bad drone at 1500 and 2000 RPM. I'm gong to try another adjustment this weekend. There such a bad humming at these RPM's and I hope this adjustment will eliminate it.
