My 4 post is pretty low. 4 1/2” deck height. I will have to add a 2x4 to not scrape the front end when the splitter is on.

Yours looks identical to mine (Triumph lift) I started with 2x4s to lower the approach angle when that worked I bought the additional ramps in the 2nd post. The R splitter sticks out a few more inches and is even worse.

Question, I heard backing up the ramps is easier. True or False? Preferably I'd like to pull in backwards. That's how I park every where I go.

I think is is very hard to backup especially when you don't have much wiggle room on either side.

i find backing in to be pretty good with both cars, but i kinda contort myself to have my head out the window to watch the rear tire placement on the edge of the runway as i go up to make sure the car is centered...

I don’t recall what brand mine is, but I’m sure it is being sold under different names. I almost bought the triump but found this delivered for 1700ish. I couldn’t justify bendpak or similar for as much as I was going to use it. I did use it to change the fuel tank in my 250 which is 8k lbs.
Thanks for posting those. I just ordered a set.

I have a Bendpak HD-9 4 post lift. Neither my 911 or my GT350 could get up the stock ramps without taking the front splitter off the car. I had to buy the optional longer Bandpak aluminum ramps to get my cars on the lift. The lift is ok but but Bendpak customer service is the absolute worst. I would never purchase another Bandpak.

Well that’s upsetting- I was literally going to pull the trigger with the bendpak hd 9 heard nothing but great reviews- what is your experience with them ? Keep in mind this lift will be for my R so hopefully I wasn’t planning on coming across any obstacles when it comes to driving on and off

Anyone have any suggestions as far as their experiences for 4 post lifts? I guess besides the bendpak hd 9 I was thinking about getting?

I have had 3 from Greg Smith Equipment. 2 of the 4 post and 1 of the 2 post. Never any issues. Current is a 9000 lb 4 post with 2 rolling jacks. Im lucky as they ar 15 minutes away and tax free as well.

I’ll have to look into that - think the bendpak hd9 we’re going for just around the 3500 mark (extended ramps extra $)

There are so many sold under different brands and names but basically same parts. I got lucky and Triumph has a local warehouse. They advertised a new scratch and dent with warranty for $1450. I then paid an installer that I believe works there $500 to deliver and set it up. When he set it up neither of us could find any damage.

Almost got an HD9, but ordered this one last summer. They have delayed it twice so no telling if I will ever get it. :frown:

The lift is pretty impressive, holds up to 7k. If I took close up pics of the lift you would see how well its engineered.
