This article made me ask myself “Where to get Motorcraft 5w50 online (by the case)?”

Rock Auto came up in a google search with the lowest price, but I know basically nothing of them.

Most of us get our oil and filter at Rock Auto. Their prices are fantastic and their customer service is on point. Don't hesitate to order from them.

P.S. It's about a dollar cheaper a quart to buy it by the case vs. just buying 10 quarts.

Rock Auto is a great place to buy parts. I've been using them for years. And yeah, they're usually the cheapest for 5W-50.

A quart every 2,000 miles is not exactly what I would label as "drinks heavily" for any vehicle, much less this one.

Now if RockAuto only sold Amsoil ;) (Irrelevant since it still probably would beat any dealer/preferred customer price)

Read this yesterday. Glad to see they are enjoying the car like most owners are. I chuckled when reading about oil consumption and thought of the many that have similar issue and had engines replaced for what is really not a problem. 30k+ miles on the car while burning some oil (which all engines do) and engine is still chugging along is a clear indicator that it is not a problem. Sometimes, our own minds are or own worst enemies.

Rockauto carries even OEM parts much cheaper than online dealers. Shipping is cheap and fast.

If you read the forums regularly you would note that many owners would find what C&D highlights as "drinks heavily" is unacceptable and detrimental.
