I just hit 2000 miles (1000 on the current oil), so I checked my oil level. Looks like only a negligible amount of loss since having it changed at 1000 miles.
If you want to put things in perspective, I visited a Porsche dealer in Tysons Corner Virginia today. A GT3 RS had an ADM of 60,000, A GT2 RS had an ADM of 150,000.
Will be good when this type of dealership madness ends.
I rented a Yellow GT this summer and that rental got me started on the whole Mustang bandwagon. I enjoyed that yellow GT for the three 3 days I drove it around TX very much, and I'll always remember that car (i.e., my first experience driving a mustang). The only downside I noticed with the...
This is an interesting thread, since it causes me ask myself “would you buy a 2nd 2018 R at MSRP or a little over MSRP?” As much as I love my 1st one, the answer is still something less than yes, but not exactly no. I like that white one. ;-)
No, the lava orange GT3 was a used 2016 with about 3000 miles. We didn’t really get to price but it didn’t sound like there was an excessive markup on it. However we did talk about a new Red GT3 Touring model and he said something about a 60K ADM mark up on that (which I completely...
So I visited my local Porsche dealer today. I think it made me love my R more. I like window shopping cars every year or so, and this was a good rainy day for it.
I ended up getting my R for $5,000 over MSRP in August 2018 and I think I did pretty well considering that they were asking $20,000 over MSRP; and on a lot of days I think it was a steal at the price I paid.
I agree on the GT3 RS, but it’s also about 3X the cost of a GT350R. My Turbo was a 2012, nice but not collectible, and Porsche 911’s are fairly run of the mill in my area (outside DC), all reasons to enjoy the GT350R.
The turbo was nice as an engine, but the non-linear acceleration is really fairly useless around town, so seldom used. Thus, I was sort of always wondering what a good straight aspiration engine would be like. Plus the engine sounds are completely and unbelievably different (I love the...
I havent been a Ford guy, except for a Harley F150 that I owned for a couple of yrs (2010-2012). But I rented a Mustang GT on a TX trip this summer and was impressed enough to start shopping around. I was initially attracted to the Bullitt but the markups eventually lead me looking at and then...
The problem is that you have to return to China, pay shipping, and no response is coming from the emails I am sending. Something is off also, the windows are just a flimsy plastic film with decals serving as vent windows. It doesn’t appear that the doors, hood or trunk open, the wheels don’t...
