  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I just hit 2000 miles (1000 on the current oil), so I checked my oil level. Looks like only a negligible amount of loss since having it changed at 1000 miles.
  2. Official GT350 Track Attack Attendance Thread

See you April 15-16. I’m staying at a Hampton Inn somewhat near the track. Also there 4/15-16; staying at the Hampton Inn in Tooele. Should be fun!
  3. Official GT350 Track Attack Attendance Thread

I signed up today for the the 2 day April 15-17 one. Looking forward to attending and seeing a bit of Utah.
  4. If anyone is looking for an '18 or '18 R....

If you want to put things in perspective, I visited a Porsche dealer in Tysons Corner Virginia today. A GT3 RS had an ADM of 60,000, A GT2 RS had an ADM of 150,000. Will be good when this type of dealership madness ends.
  5. If anyone is looking for an '18 or '18 R....

I rented a Yellow GT this summer and that rental got me started on the whole Mustang bandwagon. I enjoyed that yellow GT for the three 3 days I drove it around TX very much, and I'll always remember that car (i.e., my first experience driving a mustang). The only downside I noticed with the...
  6. If anyone is looking for an '18 or '18 R....

This is an interesting thread, since it causes me ask myself “would you buy a 2nd 2018 R at MSRP or a little over MSRP?” As much as I love my 1st one, the answer is still something less than yes, but not exactly no. I like that white one. ;-)
  7. If anyone is looking for an '18 or '18 R....

The two R MSRP’s are shown as being 79K... that’s about $10K above what I think it normally is ($69K for a 2018).
  8. Is this 2017 GT350 too good to be true?

I tend to think of divorce, or repossession, as a possible cause. But that’s me.
  9. Is this 2017 GT350 too good to be true?

The one key scenario always makes me wonder what happened to the second key? After all, how often do you loose a car key?
  10. Meet Doris

I’ve watched a handful of her videos...always good.
  11. GT350R Valuations Declining?

Never heard of “Bring a Trailer” before... live and learn.
  12. Ford Mustang GT350 VS. Porsche 911 GT3

No, the lava orange GT3 was a used 2016 with about 3000 miles. We didn’t really get to price but it didn’t sound like there was an excessive markup on it. However we did talk about a new Red GT3 Touring model and he said something about a 60K ADM mark up on that (which I completely...
  13. Ford Mustang GT350 VS. Porsche 911 GT3

So I visited my local Porsche dealer today. I think it made me love my R more. I like window shopping cars every year or so, and this was a good rainy day for it.
  14. Looking for Radio Delete panel

I enjoyed reading this thread, and appreciated the photos in reply #19 such as the following. Thanks...
  15. 350R Owners... Regrets or Remorse?

I ended up getting my R for $5,000 over MSRP in August 2018 and I think I did pretty well considering that they were asking $20,000 over MSRP; and on a lot of days I think it was a steal at the price I paid.
  16. 350R Owners... Regrets or Remorse?

I agree on the GT3 RS, but it’s also about 3X the cost of a GT350R. My Turbo was a 2012, nice but not collectible, and Porsche 911’s are fairly run of the mill in my area (outside DC), all reasons to enjoy the GT350R.
  17. 350R Owners... Regrets or Remorse?

The turbo was nice as an engine, but the non-linear acceleration is really fairly useless around town, so seldom used. Thus, I was sort of always wondering what a good straight aspiration engine would be like. Plus the engine sounds are completely and unbelievably different (I love the...
  18. 350R Owners... Regrets or Remorse?

I havent been a Ford guy, except for a Harley F150 that I owned for a couple of yrs (2010-2012). But I rented a Mustang GT on a TX trip this summer and was impressed enough to start shopping around. I was initially attracted to the Bullitt but the markups eventually lead me looking at and then...
  19. GT350 toys and models

The problem is that you have to return to China, pay shipping, and no response is coming from the emails I am sending. Something is off also, the windows are just a flimsy plastic film with decals serving as vent windows. It doesn’t appear that the doors, hood or trunk open, the wheels don’t...
