It has become too common - and why is Ford lacking in security after so many others have been stolen??

I keep thinking the same thing. It’s gotta be an inside job and someone in security has to be in on it. These guys know exactly what they’re looking for and where to find them within Flat Rock (and how to get out without being seen).

That's life in The D.

13 & 14 year olds groomed to do crime.

No wonder GT500s are so hard to find.

At least they are going big and going straight for top dog. They would get further with an ecoboost on the limited amount of gas.

This is starting to look more and more like an inside job.
We've been saying that since the first theft. I guess Ford is unable or unwilling to root out the insider(s) or beef up security.

Very likely an inside job I would think. I've also learned that a lot of these thieves/mastermind behind the operation groom 13/14 year olds to do this. With the logic that if the 14 year old gets caught, it's just a short amount of time in juvenile detention, and likely expongued from their record eventually instead of an adult going to jail.

Well, for the first we might have given them the benefit of the doubt. I mean, stealing newly produced cars directly from the factory isn't a common kind of theft that one would expect and take measures against. We might forgive Ford for being caught on the wrong foot - once. But if it keeps happening over and over, and still they won't do anything about it, then something is clearly amiss.

Yeah, the article even says the teen was turned over to his mother. :cwl:
I don't even know whether to laugh or to cry. Turned over to his mother? And she will do what? Send him to his room and no more TV for a week? Really? That's his punishment?

I think the saddest part is these kids that are too young to even have a license are being sent to steal GT500s, and eventually someone is going to get killed. I don't care if they're being groomed driving other things, that's just too much power for someone inexperienced to know how to handle.
