Any pointers or advice on what fuel to run on 150 shot? I’m currently tuned through Lund on 93 octane for 100 shot but I’d like a 150 shot. They require me to be on E85 for that but I I have 0 E85 stations within a 2 hour radius that have it, this is also my daily. No 100+ octane stations either sadly in the mountain area of upstate SC. Is 93 octane with a booster possible for a shot increase?

If your tuner is telling you not to go 150 with out being on e85 then don’t do it and probably not the best idea to find ways around it unless you have his approval with what you will use. If your dead set on a bigger shot then make the switch to e85 and order in 55 gallon drums of it but they are not cheap. You have to pay to play….

Do you have a dedicated fuel system/cell for the Nitrous kit? If so that makes it easier to run some good race fuel as the ‘adder’ with the nitrous. Still up to your tuner though.

I currently do not have a dedicated fuel system and nor am I really experienced with them or have the knowledge to speak much about them. Is a dedicated fuel system something I can keep full of E85 and switch over to when I use the nitrous? Along with swapping tunes and whenever I’m finished just switch to the other fuel tank and swap tunes again or is that not how this works?

You’d run a small fuel cell with a dedicated pump going directly to the fuel solenoid. This way you control the additional fuel quality when spraying without having to run e or race gas all the time. Can use a low pressure carb pump but must jet accordingly.

So I would remove my inline adapter and the fuel line going to the plate and run a line from the fuel cell into the plate where I removed the other fuel line?

Pretty much. If you look it up I’m sure you’ll find some kits that are available as well as diagrams that lay it out. It is definitely another layer of complexity, however you are not tapping into the factory fuel system for your additional feeling needs which is nice.

Use water/meth along with the nitrous and you will not need any other fuel or system. Water/meth and nitrous work good together
