I'd check with Granger and Chapman and suspect their backlogs will either be zero as well or significantly downsized.
I heard back from Ashlie at Chapman...
"Currently showing unscheduled in the order bank. No movement yet."

So got some good news this morning. Got an email last night that my Build date has moved up to 10/03/22! Hopefully it stays that way!

Update:

I had a quick email exchange with Anthony.

The flares/wheel moldings were delivered about a week before the car was. He advised they should be looking for a box with my VIN number and was able to provide me with the FedEx tracking to share with my dealership.

If anyone else is having issues with the flares, he can assist.
Nice! Thanks.
Can you share his email?
I've called FP, and spoke to someone a while back. They were very helpful.
Don't remember who it was, though.

Hmm, my order is thru a local dealer. I wonder if my scheduling and allocations would be any different than most of y'all

I think it's all a formula of overall volume and number of other Mustang orders they've got.
It does seem like Ford is doing a better job of getting cars scheduled lately.
...unless you're with Chapman.
😉

Chapman looks to be overbooked... again.

Chapman is a joke. My February reorder still hasn't been scheduled yet - I know you have an earlier one too, at least you've had some movement with a schedule date now ::rooting for you!::. So glad I pulled the trigger on one from Granger - even if I did spend MSRP and more to ship it to me, I have it.

I would rather order a custom through Granger and wait even if Chapman had the same build on their lot that day ready to sell.

I actually just ended up doing the same. Had a 12/14 order from Chapman w/o a build date but saw Granger had a very similar Mischievous Purple Mach1 on their lot. It had the recaros instead of premium seats but I was willing to compromise for the daily driver. Still got it for $1000 under MSRP but that got eaten in shipping. I still ended up paying more than the Chapman order but now I got a car on the way (still shipping).

I'd also mention that I did get a few bits of info talking to Chapman a week or so ago. Some orders had been passed with priority and heard that Ford has a mention in the orders as to why some orders are passed and mine was passed in recent interval due to being 700A. Had priority 14.

I'd also like to add that I have no ill-views toward Chapman. When I talked with them way back in December, they let me know they honestly didn't know when I would get a delivery based on the 2021. Ashleigh (sp?) also mentioned it's been frustrating on their end not being able to fill our orders. She even mentioned that Chapman and Granger were in friendly competition on selling orders on these forums and even would refer people to each other based on distance away. I certainly wish Chapman had more publicly facing updates like Zach but I've at least been able to get info I needed when calling either dealer.

Starting to see that light at the end of the tunnel!
Half expecting for this to get delayed with the holiday and everything else, but looking like pickup end of month/early October is possible!

the key is FORD is the one picking and choosing which orders they produce AND not communicating to customers on the WHY.

Not a Mach1 but I placed my EB Brittany Coastal order on 7/31, 10 days before non-dealer order banks closed. It's scheduled for Oct 3.

I'm mentioning it because some bloke from Tampa area was all worked up earlier in this thread over his dealer claiming no EB orders were being processed months ago and basically accused me of lying. Sorry dude, your dealer LIED or is just ignorant, or can't tell the difference between Mustang/Maveric/Bronco.

But back to on-topic: Ourisman reports ALL outstanding Mach 1 orders were picked up last week for scheduling and none left hanging. I'd check with Granger and Chapman and suspect their backlogs will either be zero as well or significantly downsized.

Aside: Don't know why but I haven't gotten a single email from Ford, no order confirm, no unscheduled clean, no schedule. Nada. Zip. At least my salesman is johnny on the spot when I text him from time to time.
Ha, yeah funny you may think that about Chapman but it’s unfortunately not looking to be the case, although logically you may think that. I’ve definitely had much better luck through Ourisman, at least so far. Seems like there are still many unscheduled orders at Chapman and really only a few weeks left of scheduling, it’s not looking promising. My Chapman order from November is one of them, somehow it’s been passed over in every scheduling window so far. Luckily my Ourisman order from June is slated to be built in a couple weeks so I have less to worry about. On another note, yeah my Ourisman order I have received not a single email from Ford about either, yet my Chapman one I have (mainly just the delay emails there). Luckily like you said it’s easy to get updates through the dealer or FP, unfortunately not receiving updates through email has me antsy and checking in almost every day to learn of any changes haha.

No way! Man my heart is beating so fast right now, can hardly believe it! Just yesterday I checked with Ford Performance and was slightly disappointed to find my built date had shifted a bit later again from September 12 to 17. Ever since my car has been scheduled I’ve been incessantly checking the tracker just in case something updates, even when the build date was over a month away. Obviously, my checking has gotten worse as the time gets closer (oops) but I just checked again and since maybe an hour ago the status has changed to in production!
