So after being told my car wasn't going to get produced until June 27th, I logged onto the tracker and found out that it's in production today! Got a window sticker and everything.

Hopefully the wait won't be too much longer now. Although I noticed the price on the window sticker vs the DORA I ordered just 6 months ago is $3k more — inflation at work, lol.

EDIT: Blend date of 6/28 from the looks of the sticker if I am reading it right? Does that mean the build gets finished on 6/28 or that's when it begins?
Blend date is when they have secured all the parts needed for the build. You can consider the beginning of actual assembly the blend date. The car will be "built", complete assembled, several days after the blend date. My blend and built dates were three days apart.

To the far right of the blend date is a series of numbers, "###/###". The first number is where you are in the assembly line that day. The second number is the total they intend to build that day. Using mine as an example, I was "237/818".

When the car is "built" you''ll receive an e-mail.

When the car is shipped from the plant, you'll receive yet another e-mail.

I'm going to email them and find out — I didn't have to put down a down payment with Chapman, but I've heard some people on here say that they don't price protect orders, which is a real bummer if true.

At least I should get the 4% instead of 3% under invoice since I have emails saved from them saying they'd give that to me.
If the car is being sold below invoice, it is most likely NOT receiving price protection. The car will be sold below invoice, the new, higher price invoice, when it arrives. Certainly, the dealer can confirm.

My order was placed 2/11 before a price increase. You guys honor the price when ordered correct? I think we have seen 2 increases since my order and deposit date.
yes, we honor price protection.

So my order is is built and has now been awaiting shipment for about a week. It's going to be a tough call for me, I currently own a 21 mach 1 velocity blue 700a automatic with nav. I have also added hp spoiler and ford performance wheels and ceramic coat. My order is a grabber blue 600a automatic with nav and red calipers. The 21 msrp was I believe 57800 and the 22 msrp is 59000, and Is obviously not coming with all the 700a features. Last year I would've picked grabber blue over velocity blue every time, but the color has grown on me a lot since owning this car. Also I'm pretty sure grabber blue metallic is different than ford's previous grabber blue color.

I'll make final decision when I see the color in person but as of now I'm leaning towards losing the 700a features for the 22 and then this time doing full hp conversion.

I guess it's a nice problem to have? You get a good deal on the '21?

Yes under msrp, I'll get a good amount more than what I paid for it because of the 22 price increase raising the 21s values. But I've also put 4000 into it already. It's a good problem to have but also stressful because I'm an indecisive person by nature.

The grabber hue is same, but it's a metallic this time instead. There will be people aplenty to take either one off your hands.

I personally don't want 700a or automatic even if I prefer Velocity

DONT ORDER FROM CHAPMAN. WIDLY KNOWN THEY WILL NOT HONOR AND THEN STEAL THE REBATE THEY RECIEVE FROM FORD. Order from @Granger Ford over Chapman / @dealerinsider if you can.

Well that sucks, I probably would have ordered from Granger instead if I'd known... Ordered from Chapman because I read a bunch of rave reviews on here and I have a couple friends down around that area (I grew up in northern DE).

Probably not going to cancel at this point unless they try to scam me with a bunch of hidden fees, in which case I'm just going to go look for a GR86 at MSRP instead.

In my experience there was no hidden fees with Chapman . straight up 4% below invoice and nothing else. I even paid my own tax/reg in my own state.

what rebate? No rebates on Mach 1 s.

I'm hoping that's the case and they honor the 4% under invoice at the price I was quoted back in January. I just emailed them to ask. Not a dealbreaker if they won't price protect but a bit of a bummer still. I've heard a lot of good things about them on here so I was surprised at the couple very negative reviews I've seen posted on here recently.

Also by the rebate, he meant that Ford price protects orders made before price increases and will give dealers a rebate (which should be passed onto the customer, but isn't always)
