search the thread. there is a scheduling / build flow chart floating around. the plant is closed in JULY. for us with no build date it does not good. best case is OCT/NOV.

That makes Zero Sense as the plant is only closed for two weeks in July and they haven't scheduled any builds for July, August or September yet. You actually think they won't be building Mustangs those months, if they have the parts???

FYI: They are not scheduling builds this week, and will post tomorrow what build weeks if any will be scheduled during next week.

i struggle to find any aspect of the order and build process that makes sense. my opinion is any order not yet scheduled is in trouble.

I thought about changing my order to 700A and I was told that the order adjustment would be treated as a new order. Good Luck!
I personally wouldnā€™t wanna risk it. I slept on it a couple days, before placing my order, knowing I was NEVER gonna make any changes through the process. It just makes sense that changes would affect the placement in queue, and that once production is scheduled, no changes can be made.

Did everyone who had their production date moved from 6/27 to 6/20 and back to 6/27 get an email for each change, or did you have to contact Ford Performance? I got the one email changing it to 6/20 but didn't get a second one pushing it back a week like others did.
Got an email for each date change

Only thing I thought about changing was going with leather over cloth. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Being on the verge of a recession, and those in control pushing all the wrong buttons there could be way bigger problems than Mustangs not getting built. We are headed full speed into a Jimmy Carter like stagflation event.

I wish I knew the real data and projections on raw materials and supplies to build our cars, because I can't understand how things are not getting better than full blown pandemic times. Most other things I my life have improved since the covid thing started, except inflation has raised the price of everything, and way more than they are reporting.

I donā€™t fully understand it either. In aerospace we are in some ways struggling even more than last year to get raw material. Paint/coatings are another big one that is getting worse. Costs of course are rising but lead times are stretching out to 12 months for some things lmao. How do you even bid for work that is due before material is available?
But donā€™t worry @traxiii the adults are back in charge of DC now :giggle:
you think the carter years were bad, we have another 3 years of this shitshow! Buckle up!

In the A/V electronics sector we are screwed. 3 to 8 month lead times on major components and price increases on yet undelivered product. Nothing like this EVER.

do you guys get anything domestically or does it all come from overseas? it doesn't seem to matter if we source material from the US or anywhere else, its all screwed up.
