Read from where? As per "ice-capades" moderator on blueovalforums.com "Mustang scheduling is canceled for tomorrow Thursday April 28th". I don't think the Flat Rock plant will be closed. Neither Blueovalforums or Ford Authority said anything about a plant closure.I read flat rock is shut down tomorrow and Friday. Does that mean not to expect any new production emails for all the guys waiting? Not so much for me as Iβm only a few weeks in but was hoping theyβd clear some more backlogβ¦.
That might explain why my build date moved from May 2 to May 9.![]()

means everything is pushed back 4 days![]()

Iβm not sure if this will affect any βScheduled for Productionβ emails that go out tomorrow/friday. During the two weeks flatrock was closed in march, there were still guys claiming they got an email on a production date. Hopefully the halt in production doesn't last more than thur/fri.![]()

That's my thinking too. Just the lack of communication is probably what is making me stress (along with others getting build dates). Glad to hear that it seems like all of us without build dates from Chapman are relatively in the same boat when it comes to priority and experienceI have a Chapman order and I seem to think it's just the larger (than Granger but just guessing) volume of orders that they're working through. I have a 12/14/2021 confirmation with them on my mach1. No build date scheduled so far. A while back I read they stopped orders for a bit so I'm sure they're really trying to ensure orders placed get built. They estimated back then June for delivery so a July build now would be August which isn't entirely off the mark. Ordering process has certainly taught me patience though I feel I'm going to miss most of the summer for driving.
It's been all production. F-150 we have a backlog. They're closing Expedition and Rangers on the 29th of this month for 2021 model year retail orders. They've already shut down orders for Bronco, Super Duty and maverick.Hey Zach, Is that just Mustangs, Mach1's or all Ford cars and trucks? I know F-Series have been as bad or worse than Mustangs, and I heard they closed orders of Super Duty trucks for MY 2022 already.
Maybe they just have Way More Retail Orders than anyone else, but the prioritizing is at least partly on them I would think. I would bypass the sales person and contact the Dealer Sales Manager and ask them to contact the Regional Manager.
