I'm thinking that 2023 MY will be 2022 spec. and run for 3 or 4 months only, before they change over to the "S650" 2024 which looks to be a facelift/refresh, not a new design. 2024 will then be a longer run of 16 months or so, starting summer of 2023. If the 2023 MY is that short and hold over S550 making a few hundred or so Mach 1's wouldn't be a big deal.

Are you being sarcastic, I don't understand? If I ordered my M1 HP in Feb. instead of last Nov. (over three months after when I actually did) and it got built yesterday I would be ecstatic. Did they say they cancelled somewhere that I missed?
the SS/1LE is significantly better car in chassis behavior, MR tuning and so forth. Granted that was a head to head with the 18+ GT350 as well as my upgraded '19 GT. Now maybe Ford finally got around to getting MR figured out like GM has with the Mach1, but I very much doubt it. You can bash the Mustang into a semblance of a good car but it takes some doing. Thankfully it's not expensive to do so, but the Camaro 1LE trims comes ready to dance from the factory at a MUCH cheaper price point.
I ordered my Mach 1 Premium HP on 8/10/21 and I still don’t have a build date. The frustration is literally oozing out of me.
you need to do an end-run around your dealership and get the truth about your order. I very much doubt it exists. If by some miracle it's really there in the order banks you need to find a personal advocate who can do what's needed for the scheduler to pick the order up for processing.
