2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

I talked to Chapman today and they said they have only had 2/41 mach 1 orders scheduled. They wouldn’t give me any indication of where I was in the queue. Maybe they got a few more in today. Still that is a long queue. I think that is going to matter more than anything. People with late orders and priority 19 builds might be the only order at their dealer.

I don’t think Ford is well equipped to handle priority with so many backlog orders. It never really mattered that much when sales were all off the lot and orders got cleared immediately. They really need to work on a more equitable and transparent system for customers if they hope continue with a more order based system once supplies normalize. It just feels bad to see orders later than yours getting dates and it having the same packages to boot.

I also reached out to Chapman and received the same response. A little annoyed since I ordered with them in August 2021. Crazy to think that it might be close to one full year from ordering before I actually get my car…but I guess this is the world we live in now?

i was wondering how many orders for M1s they had. that is NOT a great ratio to date...back to 350 shopping. :(

I don't think 2/41 is too bad when they build around 1000 Mustangs a week – Maybe we'll get ours scheduled next week. Or maybe I am just huffing that copium since I don't have a build date yet either, lmao.

I will say it is pretty irritating to see people who ordered a month or so after you did get their build dates first while having the same packages on theirs – can only imagine how the guys who ordered last year must feel.

Next week is Scheduling Clean Up, I'm hoping that means everyone that ordered Last Year gets a build date! Some of the short time waits must be from dealers that only have one retail order on the books or something?

That 1000 is GT's ecoboosts etc. That number is only mach 1's

Yeah I did at Brandon Ford which claims the 2nd highest volume sales in the USA. I can’t confirm their accuracy but I did get a priority 10 out of the gate fwiw. They also wanted a 5k deposit which I said no to and did 2k refundable instead

Above is a link detailing the allocation process for any dealer. Assigned priorities are one factor, but I feel the allocation process is more important than anything else.

priority 10 and above is dealer internal only. bigger dealers do get more cars every time they schedule. For example being 10th at a big dealer is better than 10th at a small dealer.
