If I remember correctly First Mach 1 HP cars were delivered to dealers in second half of March after their production started on the beginning of March. And half of them were missing parts like front splitter or lip moldings, see here.

Build date in January for HP car sounds unlikely. It's also weird your order got carried over when others got their orders cancelled, possibly you made it so late you didn't even get a VIN in 2021?

I had a 2021 order that Ford rolled over to a 2022. It is scheduled for January 10th week. I am not taking the car. So my order was a shadow black, 700A, 10A, handling package and elite. Chapman will have it for sale shortly if they take the order.

there are no HPs being built until March. sounds like chapman removed the HP option on the reorder. also Ford never rolled over, they simply cancelled all the 700A HP orders and it was up to the orderer and dealer to reorder.

I would believe any car delivered in the first quarter of 2022 will be better QA/QC than those in 2021. This is not a new production run. It is the same car just a different year.

I was part of the October 31st order cancellation purge. My 2021 order was from August 13th. I never received a VIN. Ford automatically ordered me the the same car for 2022.

You guys are correct. I never looked at the original Ford 2022 order confirmation. The car does not have handling package, just the GT performance package. I did not read this email because it was the day I was picking up my '21 iconic silver car.

oh, if a 700A HP car was being build shipped soon, it would not be my hopes that it going up, but my temper, been waiting for almost 7 months now for my car.

I understand. So many people got in line only to get nothing. I feel bad for you wanting to match your '71. Pre-2021 ordering a car was nothing. Last year was unbelievable. That was why I went and found a car for MSRP. I had to drive 600 miles to get it. I was afraid of what could happen. There were so many cancellations I wondered just how many 2022's they would have to make.

I will say the car is worth it. My wife daily drives the car. She smiles everyday. It has 2000 miles already. I put some Michelin Alpin PA4. She can get them to break loose. She drives it like she stole it. I had to teach to not use the brake and trust the sway bars.

yeah, I am hoping I can find the right car to trade for, either this year or in 10 years. but one day. find the exact right race red car to swap my 22 for, even with a few bucks.

The Ford's email states this wrongly, it's mislabeled there. Another thing that adds to the general confusion

did Ford buy all Flint employees a pair of glasses or corneal implants? Because the evidence suggests their QA/QC is done by the School for the Blind down the street from the plant. It's apparently a work-study program and very popular.

I'm new to the forum and placed my order for a Mach 1 with the Handling Package on December 6th. My dealer checked the status yesterday and said his system still says "unscheduled". Over the last few weeks I've spent a fair amount of time reading threads on the forum and understand that HP builds don't start until March sometime. With that being said has anyone else ordered a HP Mach 1 around the same time frame as me? If so have you received any more information than I have? Thanks!

As I for me, when I was trying to order my mach 1 in October. They said Ford is not building mach 1 with handling pack until March.

Any one have their VIN or order number working? The tracking system is trash. The scheduled date of production from ford email is the week of 1.10 but my dealer found it was scheduled to 1.20

while on the phone, ask them when handling packs will be scheduled, and what they're doing about Ford-cancelled/reorders.

Ordered mine in October, and only have the confirmation email from Ford. March is what the general consensus is for HP cars.

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered the exact same car as you other than I went with the Tremec. Love the iconic silver.
