If you need local PPF installers I've got a couple. The leading face of the rear haunch needs it at min if you don't put rock guards on.
If my Ourisman order comes in first, I'll hit you up for that.
Would be nice to have some protection before the 5 hour drive back South.

manual has the gas guzzler tax
Thanks for that! Been tryna get a better idea of exactly how/where the price increases were.

trust us the gas guzzler tax applies to the M6 Tremec cars. it doesn't matter if it shows up in the configurator or not.
Lol I'm sorry if I implied I didn't believe you guys. I was 99% certain the tax was still there even before asking, and 100% certain after you guys said so. I was just wondering why (IIRC) Ford seems to be obscuring it a bit, or if it was just "hidden" in the base price.

Did you use any adhesion promotor or just cleaned up the area where the flaps were applied?
Just cleaned I think. Like I said it lasted 2 years before giving up the ghost so it's not remotely as bad as typical fake 3m from Chinese which is lucky to last months, but RokBlox puts a screw at the top instead of all 3 being clustered at the bottom so it has ~zero chance of coming undone.

Found a dealer here in Florida that went above and beyond for me. He was able to secure an extra allocation for a Mach 1, even though they only had two more for the month of July which were already spoken for. He just asked for my license and phone number, and told me he would call Ford. The next day I got an email confirmation from Ford congratulating me on ordering a Mach 1, and a text from him which said "Looks like you got yourself a Mach 1". Best part is that I will be getting the car for MSRP, he said his dealership doesn't do ADM. He also informed me that there will not be a 2023 Mach 1, and if that is true that worries me. At this point, I can only hope that everything goes well and my order doesn't get canceled.

Order confirmation Date: 6/6/2022 4:33PM EST
Priority Code: 19
Estimated Build Date (If showing): N/A
Options: Race Red, 700A, 10-Speed Automatic Trans, Mach 1 Elite Package, Mach 1 Handling Package, Recaro Leather-Trm Sport Seats, Red Painted Brake Calipers, Voice ACT Touchscreen NAV System
Shipped Date: N/A
Received Date: N/A
Placed an order for a Mach 1 in Nov 2021. Did not have a clue what was going on and was sent an email from Ford the end of May that my Mach 1 was scheduled for build Jun 27. May 31 email from Ford that moved my build to Jul 18. Jun 28 email from Ford build moved to Aug 1. So, talked to my local Ford dealer, which I did not use to place the order, what the heck is going on and this is what he knows. Parts for Mustangs are hard to get, assembly line labor shortage, the top selling Ford vehicles have assembly line priority. So, where does that leave the Mach 1? He is not sure but he thinks they will complete the builds but it could be Sep, Oct possibly Nov. That is not acceptable to me so I am going to cancel my build and go another route.

Was planning on doing that next summer along with headers, might have to up that timeline

question on the exhaust modes (I haven’t dug into this yet): what’s the differences? To me there doesn’t sound to be any real variation between normal, sport and track… definitely a difference between quiet and the others. the 350 only had normal/quiet and sport/loud.. these extra 2 settings have me confused currently
With the X-pipe there is a big difference between each node-much more so than stock.

I expected the wait because my dealer, he told me it could take anywhere from 6 to 8 months to get my Mach 1, and possibly longer because of the shortages. I am also aware of orders being pushed back and even canceled at times, and yeah it's pretty crazy. Ended up asking him about the possiblity of my order being canceled out of fear of it happening to a few members on here, and he said it's unlikely unless Ford decided to end production for the Mach 1. Honestly, I have nothing to lose at this point, so I'll be waiting it out until Ford builds my car, or they officially cancel my order. Thankfully, I didn't have to make a deposit even though at first the dealer did ask for one, but I talked my way out of it because I didn't want to pay anything unless I had a 100% guarantee of the car being built and he worked with me. I completely understand why you would want to cancel your order, but honestly at this point, I would wait it out and see what happens. Unless you got a bad deal, like some crazy ADM or something, then yeah I would cancel. But if you actually got a fair deal, just wait it out if you can help it. You waited this long already, and you have a date to look forward to at the very least. The reason I'm so adamant on a Mach 1 is because I see GT350's out here from time to time, even saw a GT500 once yet I have never seen a Mach 1. Not even at a dealership, so from what I see they're pretty damn rare.

Totally agree with you, the Mach 1 is and will be rare. I have not canceled yet but I have a financial issue as in I pay cash for all my vehicles and my investment portfolio has and is taken a severe beating and I cannot afford to pull any unless the market goes up 2000 points in the next 2 or 3 months. You can blame that on that a??hole in the Presidents office.

pray tell why on earth pay cash when you use Other People's Money for practically free? That same 60 grand invested in dividend stocks paying 7% or more will throw off 4200 which is what 4 or 5 months of car payments?

Debt financing on such rediculous terms as has been the "norm" of last 20 years is a huge boon to the consumer who can cram the inflation losses up the bank's books. Now if you don't know how to use debt properly, then fine live in the dark-ages of paying cash...

In any event, you make money when you buy, not when you sell.

Yeah, unfortunately the braindead geriatric we have at the white house is the root cause for a lot of our problems. I mean, thanks to his backwards way of thinking and extremely useless policies, the 2022 Mach 1 lost 10 horses and 10 ft lb of torque. I remember filling up my GT with $20, now I'm going towards $60 within a span of a year. It's ridiculous, anyways do what you gotta do. If you can hold out, I hope you get your Mach but if not, I completely understand. I will wait for mine, I still owe some money on my GT so even if takes a long time, the trade in value will only increase, since I don't drive my GT much. Only 5.7k miles on her. The carfax on my car, the value went up 2k since I ordered my Mach 1 back in June. Dealer offered 42k, and the carfax says its now worth 44k from 41k.

Just got my 'sorry we haven't written in so long..." email from Ford.
Don't know if it was from my 5/19 Chapman Order or 6/6 Ourisman order.
I expect the Chapman one, as it's been 50 days.
I'll probably get another in a few weeks, 50 days out from 6/6.
At least they remember me!

Clock is about to expire on the price appreciation. Dealer ask on used is coming down by chunks of 500 and 1000 at a time. There is still massive overpriced inventory sure. If you check back in 3 weeks you might not like the answer
